Bama didn't need to either. LSU had scored once in the second half and JD threw a pick sealing the game before he was hurt. They weren't going to stop Bama from scoring again with JD in the game.

If we beat Georgia and either Oregon or Washington loses I have a hard time seeing us not making the final four but this committee is retarded so nothing would surprise me.

If FSU wins they are in. They’re ranked ahead of Texas and Ohio State already. They’re not dropping behind either of those teams.

Teams have bad games, and Louisville had a bad one. It happens. They aren't a great team, but neither is Bama to be honest. Bama is living off a crappy schedule and an awful SEC West.
The ridiculous Bama fans trying to backdoor their way into another playoff is just pathetic, but typical for them.
Just like using the "better loss" against someone like Oregon but now resume matters when it helps Bama unlike in 2011 when the "better loss" was more important than the better resume.

2. Texas or FSU or Michigan lose
If Bama beats UGA, and Michigan/Texas/FSU win, as crazy as it sounds the SEC will unfortunately be left out this particular year.
