I agree they probably aren't going to jump Oregon, but Bama would have a better resume if they beat Georgia and win the SEC.

I have no clue why the committee loves Oregon so much. But it’s obvious they do. They have them at 5 right now and bama at 8

And they are about to play #3. They have no shot to fall below bama with a win

From commitee chair

quote:
“It is (four) best,” Hancock said. “Most deserving is not anything in the committee’s lexicon. They are to rank the best teams in order, that’s what they do — just keep that word in mind, ‘best’ teams.”

quote:
“They’re a different team, it’s pretty obvious, with Jordan Travis not playing and Tate Rodemaker playing they’re a different team, just as anyone would be if they lost their quarterback in that situation.”

That statement would seem to conflict with the Vegas odds of FSU making the CFP.

That statement also conflicts with them having fsu ranked number 4 currently…..It’s clear they aren’t using that logic

You still don’t get it

“If Washington or Oregon loses”

Let me help you out, they play each other……..

And the game is meaningless to bama. They aren’t jumping the winner of that game

It’s simple for bama: win, and cheer for okie state and Louisville

I know that Bama will not jump the winner but they both are ahead of Bama, so whoever loses the game will drop below Bama if we beat Georgia. That's all that I was hinting at man. I know we won't jump the winner but the loser will drop below us so that will aid us in the end.

The Washington-Oregon game is irrelevant to Bama.

The winner is in the playoff, and the loser is out (and below Bama after winning over UGA)

Right now the pecking order outside the Top4 is
1. Texas… needs to beat OkSt and get one loss from UGA/Michigan/FSU
2. Bama… needs to beat UGA and get a loss from Texas/FSU/Michigan

People are making this way more complicated than it is.

Don’t worry about OhioSt or Pac12 loser… they’re out.

You don't get it my man. There's no point in saying Washington and Oregon lose as they both can't lose it has to be either/or. I don't know why you want to be the pronunciation police for no reason but to each his own you choosing to troll and that's the last thing this board needs with all the shite trolls already. But you do you my man.
