What's "in trouble" is being able to hide-out in a division beating the same old dysfunctional slapdicks every season that bent the knee to your team long ago.

You mean the division that has three teams that have won a NC in the last 25 years…one more team than the entire big12 in that same time frame?

The same division that has won 5 nattys in 25 years to the big 12’s 2?

This is true and accepted by rational OU fans. We WILL compete way more often than not.

No they won't. Oklahoma owned Texas and A&M in the Big 12. Why? Because they have a functional athletic department that isn't over run by a bunch of boosters who think they know better than the AD. Will they own the SEC? No, but they will be competitive year in and year out. I'm not sure I can say the same for the Texas schools.

Exactly. Nobody from OU or Texas thinks we will own the SEC. I haven't seen anyone make that claim.

Both programs realize this is going to be a much tougher conference to play in. We aren't morons.

Yes. I mean both divisions. I don't care what other teams have done in the last 25 years or how it compares to the big xii historically because it's not relevant to the current state of affairs.

You dorks even yammer about Georgia's schedule yourselves on here all the time. That's not going to be the case anymore, for anybody, and it's not just going to impact OU and TX because they're entering the league. You're delusional if you think that.

I care about where things are going into next season with the schedules already out, because that's what this discussion is about. Nobody is going to have "the usual speed-bumps" anymore.

Pay attention.

While I can see OU being the new Nebraska, perhaps they are the SEC West's version of Tennessee.

You don't seem to understand. Auburn won the NC in 2010 so you better go ahead and mark it down as a loss next season.

While I wish that were true, Nebraska has a geography problem OU doesn't have. They are within easy driving distance of one of Texas' most productive recruiting grounds..full of powerhouse publics and a few private schools as well.

Looking at the CFP since 2014 and not seeing any orange teams that go by "UT" in there... Come to think of it, the only orange team that's been there hasn't made it since we got their guy.

Don't talk about the Big 12 like that. They were good to you.

Your seven years here, on an SEC board no less, has consisted primarily of you spouting how overrated you think the SEC is, name calling, and weak trolling in an attempt to be some sort of internet edgeloard, yet we are the dorks?

I get what you're trying to say, and for sure frick auburn, but this isn't true and auburn has a trophy room to prove it I think. Auburn has the strangest most unpredictable relationship with the football gods its truly mystifying. Undefeated national Champs to winless in the SEC and back again is nuts.

A&M hasnt reached those heights to have a chance to fall back down. Auburn also didn't run from Bama.

Yes, you are the dorks because you are very clearly talking about MOJO_ERASER, not me.

The biggest losers are Texas and Oklahoma. The mythological, fan perception of elite-ness is in trouble.
OU has beaten Bama ….Texas has beaten both of you and OU should have if it wasn’t for a pussified Lincoln Riley … so no we dont agree with you ….

I am the one who clearly says all your mid tier teams wil not consistently beat OU …. That’s me …. I have also said while we may not consistently win the sec …. Most of you will not either ….. so many teams this year compare very even be the teams we have faced and some of you we have beaten soundly the last time we played ( Florida Auburn) . You guys have to remember OU has played in the NC and lost Florida without Demarco Murray LSU Jason white injured …. Close games vs the best of the best …. Sure we didn’t win but to say we weren’t on that level is just stupid. LSU pounded us true but we was without 4 key starters defensively and while I agree that score would have not been much different because LSU was the best team in college football l… those type of players missing matters. We have plenty of wins and some losses vs the sec but if all you think the games will be easy i am going to be here to laugh at you right after each win. I have heard almost every fan base saying we will be a below average team in the sec except for Vandy fans …. Meanwhile all time I think we have a pretty good track record of winning games ve most of the sec combined . You also have to remember you have to play us too …. Every game will be remembered so be careful what you say .
