The Big Ten is a pathetic league, it’s even worse this year. Their entire conference are among the weakest offenses in all of college football. I would love to see how Ohio St or Michigan would fare playing Ole Miss, LSU, Ala, Ga, and Tenn but first start the season with an out of conference opponent like Texas or Fla State. This playoff committee is a joke.

If Bama beats UGA in a close game, there’s no way they can leave either Bama or UGA out…
There’s still a lot of football to be played…

There’s no way a 12-1 SEC champ Bama would be left out in my opinion.

God help everyone if Notre Dame only had 2 losses this season instead of three.

If ND finished the season with only 2 loses, it's not entirely assured that an even unbeaten SEC champ Georgia would make the playoffs if Ohio State, Michigan, and Washington stayed at their current positions.

There is no greater love and hope and slavish praise and admiration and inflated worth heaped upon a team greater than that freely given to Notre Dame.

Really hard to say Ohio State is pathetic. Yes, they can't seem to win the big one that they must win to get the big trophy, but they have had competitive games in the playoff recently and a good win over Clemson.

They won’t because Georgia isn’t losing to Alabama.

Leave LSU out of it.

You will see it next year when Texas plays Michigan.

By the way, there is a real chance Texas loses tonight to Iowa State. However, if Texas runs the table and Bama runs the table from here on out there is no way Alabama is getting into the playoffs over Texas.

Assuming both take care of bid'niss up to the Champ Game, the winner goes to the play off 100%

You’re right, but a loss by Georgia in the SECC and they will be assuming FSU, OSU, and Washington remain undefeated. Then it will be between Texas and Alabama

The SEC will have exactly one representative in the playoffs

How many times in the divisional format has the SEC champion lost an OOC game at home by two possessions?

Iowa is ranked 16. Tells you everything you need to know about the rankings and about the Big10.

So is LSU and Ole Miss. The four aforementioned teams would also wax Oregon and Washington.

If GA dawg walks UT at Neyland today, this team isn’t losing to anyone

Those chaos scenarios will be a moot point

Bama’s easiest way in minus complete chaos.

Oregon Beats Washington.

In that scenario Bama would have the best win against #1 Georgia, Best Loss against #3 Texas, Higher SOS, and more ranked wins.

Oregon would have a win against #5 Wash, a loss to #5 Wash, 60 something strength of schedule, and less ranked wins.

So the final would be:

Big 10 champ
FSU
Texas
Bama

Obviously if anyone else loses or whatever it becomes easier. Just my .10 cents.

OSU played ND at ND this year. They also play at Michigan, played Penn state and @wisky back to back weeks.

Michigan complain about their schedule but OSU has played a real schedule
