Hands down worst athletic program is aggy.

It's a&m. Tennessee has at least shown some recent promise in baseball and basketball. Their football program hit a downturn when top 3 rivals Florida Bama UGA started incredibly surging.
a&m has really never been more than above average. Even with Jonny Football. Their in state rival Texas was slumping for the last 15 years too, so it's not like they didn't have opportunity to steal some attention and recruits. They never started a competitive rivalry with anyone in the sec besides miss state. Their culture just sucks and they will never be good unless they change it.

Obviously it's aggy, simply for the fact you can run the scenario 60 years back into the prior century.
The question becomes.. in the last 80 years has aggy played in a game that if they won they would be in a position to play a game that had they won, they would get to play for the championship?

Hands down tenn.
It's pretty sad. Year after year they set themselves up in the off-season with unrealistic expectations only to crash and burn in all three sports annually.
It's so bad they they've caused one guy to have 27 different personalities. He's on this board occasionally.
