Screw you OU!

Wingo played Mizzou and Texas against each other the way Ezekial Elliot played Mizzou and Ohio St. against each other.

All MU has to do is write a bigger check today, while he's in high school. Texas has to wait until he enrolls. There isn't an issue and he'll likely flip back

Texas still doesn’t have a coach it doesn’t matter. They won’t win regardless.

That's always been the case. The question is whether some schools just inherently have a harder time despite money and recruiting. I think it denigrates recruits to say they are only about money, when in fact many of them will be considering other factors.

Disagree slightly. The NIL money whipping is a new factor. The "pro potential" thing is definitely a decades old selling point.

But bottom line is that most people that are furious have not walked a mile in the shoes of these kids or their families, and should not denigrate them for choosing what they think is the best all around deal.

Funny how Missouri loses a recruit it’s the bag lol… to fricking funny … the irony

What irony?

The ONLY reason (or at least 80 - 90 percent of it) we got Nwaneri or Burden was $$$. Mizzou fans aren’t clueless, self-important fans relying on past glory (we have little). We’re feet on the ground realists. That mindset will serve us well going forward in the new era. The rest of y’all “blue bloods” can live in your fantasy world assuming recruits will still be beating a path to your door “just because of who you used to be”

It's a bit more of a Portland, but I'd take SF over most cities, so frickin' A. Thanks.

Can you send us a link to your Poop map like San Francisco so we can avoid those areas? Thanks.

Huh you guys are bitching about losing a recruit for money and you just admitted the only reason you got Burden was the money …. What part of irony don’t you understand ?

It is the state of recruiting these days.

Hah. Yea. Saw that bit with his pappy. Basically he has a baseline of how much money UT threw at him. If anyone wants to still recruit and one up his current deal, he will likely sign with whoever tops it.

I’m honestly not sure MU would depending on how much we threw at Nwaneri and I’d love to throw a bag at a RB with top end speed more to benefit the O immediately next year.

Texas 24/7 insiders posted last night they had some news that was good for Texas and out of respect to the family they werent changing their Crystal ball to allow Wingo to have his day.
That has been talked about the past few days. He supposedly had been a silent for the past few months, though Mizzou made a $trong push late.

Great commitment for Texas!!!

I guess the part where you are projecting on the entire fan base that we don't understand the involvement of NIL money in the recruiting game today.

Wingo was about money.
Nwaneri & Burden was about money.

Done and done. No problems here.

Most of us know that college football for the uber-talented is a business. The kid made the business decision that he felt was best for him. Sucks to miss out on him, but good luck to him.

I can’t fault the kid for chasing the dollars. Put it away, invest it and his 50’s will be fairly stress free.

The one thing I would say, highest offer isn’t always the best offer in my professional experience. If you have any doubts and money is fairly comparable, go with your heart. That may be Texas. If so, I hope he’s successful and gets the most from his experience.

Portland would be in my worst 10 cities in America.
The cities are horrible. People aren't meant to be living in such density.
You are naming the worst cities as good places.

Don’t worry Missouri fans are outmatched have dodged a bullet with this kid. His dad wants more money and he’s probably going to get a school in trouble . This is exactly the type of kids you don’t want on your team. Talent or not the headache isn’t worth it . Burden isn’t doing this same type of crap .
