If you're referring to his comments from this morning, he said NLI, not NIL. Meaning Texas was the only one to send over an NLI which I do not believe just like I don't believe him "sleeping" this morning is the cause of the delay.

A sane post. These are teenagers we’re talking about. Often with overbearing parents trying to live through them and sadly, probably more often than not, leach off both NIL and pro earnings.

Doubt Wingo slept in that late and doubt he only has one NLI on the table to delay to the afternoon.

But with our prior experience with the Wingos, they do love attention. I think he stays with you, but damn if he isn’t going to make your a-hole pucker before announcing.

Drink’s conversation with Wingo last night was not about flipping today, it was about flipping after next season. There will be much more playing time available for him then, and he’ll flip to the Tigers after developing with Texas for a year. Book it

Poor what? Our WR room is top five going into next season easy, even without Wingo. Texas? Not so much. We were fine n October, we will be fine now.

Texas’ WR room should be pretty good too. Not sure you have to worry about WRs with Sark.

But yeah, Mizzou is definitely not hurting at WR. Will definitely have a top 5 WR core in the Nation.

Enjoy the Wingo family. We will enjoy not having them.

Texas has the best QB developer in the country as HC. They currently have the 2 most prized qb recruits of the CFP era in the same QB room. And when Manning is a junior, they'll sign the next elite #1 pro-style qb. And with those qb's will follow the 5* WR, 5* all around backs, and 5* OT. It's going to turn into the same offense that Sark ran at Bama and Texas has the resources to get the same level of recruits

The fact that Missouri fans started this thread and have complained for 5 pages worth definitely gets that message across.

What? Far from it

Lincoln Riley is about to have another QB drafted 1st round and likely 1st overall.

QB's developed by Sark and their qb recruiting rank

Palmer 6
Leinart 7
Sanchez 1
Locker 6
Kessler 11
Darnold 12
Tua 3
Jones 29
Young 1
Ewers 1

Most of those guys weren’t blue chip can’t miss qbs coming out of high school. They were 4* rated 50-200 overall in their classes. And they just weren’t great college qbs, they became the absolute best of their classes and almost all of them were 1st rounders. Hell Matt Cassell got drafted and never played a down at USC

Let’s see 5’s

Palmer #1 QB In his Class
Sanchez 5*
Locker 5*
Lienart 5* Heisman
Tua 5*
Young #1 QB and player In his Class Heisman

Now let’s look at Riley

Bradford
Mayfield
Murray
Williams
Hurts

4 won the Heisman and all his QB’s have been In the running for it In his Short tenure compared to Sark and I’m only counting 2 stops

Compared to 6ish for Sark… including a drunken escapade

Lincoln Riley was the wide receiver coach at Texas Tech when Sam Bradford played at Oklahoma.

Carson Palmer was a 4* recruit and wasn't ever considered top 5 in his class

Ronald Curry
Drew Henson
Matt Holiday
Jared Jones
Corey Paus

And that's excluding Vick, because noone knew how to properly rate him.

Pre-Sark Palmer completed 56.7% of his passes 7.15 ypa 29TD:30INT 121.4 rating 11-13 record. SR year with 1st year as Sark as QB Coach 63.2% 8.06 ypa 33TD:10INT 149.1 rating 11-2 record wins the heisman out of nowhere and jumps from potential mid round pick to #1 overall

Leinart was also a 4* behind Mauer, Croyle, Derek Anderson and DJ Shockley

Locker was a 4* #68 overall and viewed as a complete bust after his first 2 years. He went 3-13 and completed 48.7% of his passes 6.11 ypa 15 TD:15INT 104.7 rating pre-sark. In comes Sark, 56.9 completion % 6.97 ypa 38TD:20INT 127.2 QB rating w/ Sark and he gets drafted #11 overall, would have been #1 if he'd left Jr year

Lincoln Riley was a graduate assistant at Tech for the entirety of Sam Bradford's college career

Also LOL @ giving Riley credit for Hurts. His numbers were almost identical per play his jr year @ Bama, might as well give Sark credit for him since he was on the staff Jalen's freshman year

Kyler Murray was a 5* #2 dual threat qb #30 overall
Caleb Williams 5* #2 qb #8 overall

Baker Mayfield was a product of Kingsbury, as is Riley. They air raid is a gimmick offense and it's likely why Malachi Nelson just bailed on USC, it's a sinking ship
