Facts are, the defense isn't good enough, other teams shoot well against us, whether wide open or contested, or from half court

We make stupid mistakes and shoot ourselves... Undisciplined ball. I'm happy to see us here...I didn't have us getting past last round.

Yeah, really doesn't matter if you have the best plan ever thought out in basketball history if the other team can't miss threes

Half of their 3s are by guys that we game planned to leaving open because they shoot below 20% from 3 in the year. And they went 5/6 combined. We need to adjust at half

Do we ever catch a team when they're having an off night?

UNC defense isn't any better than Bama's - if Bama can reduce the turnovers and make a few 3s, they will win.

Estrada has made up for it with some contested 2s.

Estrada was a 38% 3pt shooter at Hofstra last year. He is 30% this year

Yea the fact is this team was always going to have to out score everyone in their way if we were to make a run was always the Achilles heel.

Defense is 95% effort, I feel like our guys know they’re so good on offense they just don’t care on defense. We gave their shite shooters wide open 3s to start the game. frick the analytics these guys play for UNC, they’ll hit wide open 3s and that gave them momentum

I thought we were okay that half. We need to hit more 3s.

We still in it.

We are in striking distance to pull it off...they making crazy amounts of three's but we are okay.

Yep, GCU, and we made the S16 due to it.

We just don’t have the horses to defend a team shooting this well. Either they go cold and we have a chance (if we limit TOs), or we lose by double digits because only 1 of our guys would start on their team.

Could be the difference between catch and shoots vs a fully green light. But he honestly hasn't been good since the conference schedule started. He was nailing them in OOC.

I think we stick with the analytics. Their average shooters will eventually cool off.

We can’t gut fricked by fumble fingers Pringle at the rim and will need every loose ball.

Bama shooting percentage was good, but he had too many ISO attempts. We need more off the ball moves and passing.

Do we stand a chance here without Wrightsell?

did you see the alternative? Wague was a complete disaster. Looked like he'd be the starter for our first 8 games, then proceeded to look like the worst center we've had under oats.

I couldn’t care less about his season numbers, he’s filled Wrightsell’s shoes as our slasher tonight.

They contested almost every one of our rim shots and had several blocks. Their defense is light years better than ours
