Why is Auburn playing Baylor in Sioux Falls, SD at 9:00 on a Tuesday?
They do some neutral site games at that Pentagon arena some.

Guess I just never realized.

I remember watching a scouting video on him a couple months back. He shot 27% from 3 last year. And that was against weak competition. He also was very inefficient when teams forced him to his left side. While he's got great body control and handles for his size, in the NBA, the quickness and physicality is more likely to neutralize his strengths.
A very tall, athletic player who can handle the ball, facilitate some, and rebound, but has an incomplete and inefficient offensive game sounds a lot like Ben Simmons before he was broken mentally. No one made him a guarantee, but I have a hard time believing that everyone picking late first would have passed on using a relatively low value pick on that kind of player. We're not talking lottery picks here. Obviously he's not the kind of prospect Miller was. Using something like the #27 overall on a dude who is 6'11" with a handle and the ability to hit outside shots and hoping to develop him seems like an easy decision to me though.

Watched some Arizona. Bradley lost a little weight. Looks quicker but still not the most skilled guy out there. Didn't realize they brought in the veteran Johnson from SD State. Big pickup right there.
They are a solid team, though. Love and the big man Ballo are very talented.
I was expecting to get back Chuck, Bradley, Burnett and even JQ after last season was over so to be in this position while losing all of those guys is a testament to Nate Oats. This dude can build a roster that fits his style of play.
I know Bradley and Burnett are talented but not incredibly skilled like we need in this system. Estrada is an upgrade.
Love how in control we look. Our guards and some of our bigs can handle the basketball and avoid stupid turnovers. Nelson looks like a point guard out there bringing up the ball. So versatile.
I see a lot of comparisons between Clowney and Stevenson which is very fair but Stevenson can handle the basketball a bit and can shoot much better. He's better offensively at least.

Nelson seemed quick
I actually thought sort of the opposite.
During the game I told a buddy Nelson wasn't the quickest, but man he just hustles.
I can see him being our irritating Drew Timme guy that everyone in the conference loves to hate.
Am I'm here for it.

Do we have another stud freshmen this year? Just how bad is Morehead State though?
Stevenson looks like the best freshman. He's like Clowney with better offense and not as good defense. Likely one and done.
And Moorehead State is very solid. They're picked to win their league.

It’s already been mentioned, but what I’d give to have Angry Chuck back.

He definitely hustles. But when i say he's not fast but quick, i meant he's got a good first step or wiggle, that gets his guy off balance, and let's him get by his man.

Checked the sex schedule. Jan 6 is the first day all 14 teams play on the same day. It will also be the first day pf conference play. Thought that was wild
