ETA...technically, UT still won the conference that year because Florida was caught buying players and was ineligible for the title that year...but it still hurt.

My bad...I got my Florida infractions confused...it was Pell who bought players...Hall just paid cash under the table to a player, and unauthorized salary supplements to the coaching staff. I guess Florida shouldn't have had him "resign under pressure" for it.

Les Miles coached the second half of that game with his hands around his throat.

Given the 1st half-dominance, this is easily #1 IMO.

we were playing the #1 ranekd team and never led by more than 13 at any point and took the game to overtime, again I don't see how that's a "choke". And we weren't playing prevent defense on that play..

Exactly. The play was a fluke not a choke and a amazing performance by Murray considering all the offensive weapons we were missing.

Now our 2014 game vs UF was a combination of choking and extreme overconfidence.Favored by 14+ points and gave up 38 points to a horrible UF offense.

I remember that Kelvin Taylor and Matt Jones had a combined 400+ rushing yards in that game.

The bottom line is that the Gamecocks may come up short for bowl eligibility because of this debacle.

Shane will just have to squeeze the bear a little harder another year to get CFB's oh so prestigious & coveted Birmingham Bowl trophy - oh well

Clayton White moved firmly into Whammy Ward territory last Saturday night - the 2014 nightmare blowing a 14 point lead in final 2 minutes 4Q vs UTK will be hard to out-do ... but White came close -

Didn't see this one but the 2014 Sugar Bowl Vs Ohio State. Where we stopped running the football for some reason.

For sure. That was Patriots vs Falcons Super Bowl level choke.

Pure first half domination...then Ingram fumbles heading for a TD where the ball bizarrely bounces forward staying inbounds.

People talk about the kick six 2013 game...but I think Bama was gassed and was going to lose if he'd just missed the kick and it went to OT. Saban knew it too so that's why he went for the long FG to win it.

2010 was just inexcusable and never should have happened.

Thus last weekend comes to mind. Also, 2017 Florida. Two wide open receivers in the 4th quarter after having a 13 point lead.

2019 was a pretty big choke in the UK-Florida game too.

Definitely not a choke, just bullshite Auburn voodoo magic. We were down mid way through the 4th and had it not been for that tip pass we would have completed the comeback

That 22 yard fumble into the end zone was an eerie indicator of what was to come.
