On pace for;

4K passing yards
40 Passing touchdowns
70%+ completion rate
1K rushing yards
8-10 rushing touchdowns

Might be looking forward a bit too much, but right now he’s going to be a Heisman finalist

Luckily it’s at home and their defense isn’t very good. But I don’t know if our usual 20-24 points will be enough to win it. Offense will have to play and execute in the red zone

He didn't look so good against Florida State, the only decent defense LSU has played.

ETA: It doesn't help Bama that LSU set up three weeks to prepare for the game with Army and a Bye before it.

So week one you're as good as you're going to get? Is that your story?

Don't look but LSU is getting better each game. I might live in a trailer but it's not on Lake Denial.

They've got the #2 offense in the country right now. Daniels is good, but they've also got an excellent supporting cast surrounding him, and they run a scheme that really lets him play to his strengths (not to mention that it's the type of scheme and personnel that seemingly always gives us fits).

It's going to be a tough game. But, I mean, shite, this team can make a tough game out of USF, so I guess that goes without saying. Who knows anyway? This team is a weird, zany, bipolar experience .

I'm just glad that we have a stout run defense and a good secondary. It will be tough but we have the players to match up with their offense.

I'm more worried about Harold Perkins racking up 10 sacks.

LSU whips Auburn and everyone is worried now? It’s the same team. Auburn has 0 offense and their top 10 defense was on the field most of the game. They were torched. One play specifically was a DB blitz and the DB was gassed when he got to Daniel’s and couldn’t tackle him.

No offense and a top 10 defense on the field most of the game sounds exactly like what I’m worried about going against LSU.

LSU has a god awful defense. I don’t care what shitty Peyton Thorne did against them. Alabama can dominate them even with our inconsistency

Hopefully so. I haven’t seen domination by our offense to date though.

We will have to play a full game on both sides of the ball. We should be able to run the ball but we will have to limit the penalties.

That’s why I said can. Never know but LSU’s defense is bad. Our defense isn’t going to be on the field the whole time, which gives me hope they can go out and get a few stops

Not the same we actually have offense at times. They have like none, 0. Of course they will play us out of body at their place.

Well yeah. I mean he’s playing the position as good as anyone in the country.

What drove me nuts last year was Golding had ZERO plan to contain Daniels pretty much the entire game. If Bama can keep contain/keep a spy on Daniels, AND get some pressure, I think Bama can limit him.

He had time to eat a sandwich yesterday on most of his passing plays. Any semi competent QB could be successful in that situation.

Well he’s been a problem for everyone this year. Defense will have to perform better than any other offense they face this regular season and the offense has to get their head out of their butt and perform like they’re capable of given their talent level. Problem at LT yesterday was it wasn’t missed assignments they were just getting physically manhandled. Don’t think you can fix that.

It’s going to be a battle. The only way it won’t be a very close game is if the offense and Milroe come out playing lights out. Put it all together.

The defense will play well and keep Daniels in check but if the offense can’t sustain drives with scores then LSU will eventually start to put some points up.

Control the LOS. Don’t turn it over. Same recipe.

Lol look at this confidence in the defense. They had trouble with KJ yesterday. LMAO!
