To be honest, unless you went to an Ivy League school or Stanford, I don't think being an A&M graduate vs an LSU graduate makes any difference when applying for a job.
Mama McKinley disagrees with you. The State of Louisiana and LSU are ALWAYS around the bottom of these type of Schools/Education rankings. Information that is being used against y'all.
Do Better?

What have you done to enhance Texas' education ranking other than brag about it? Clearly, Texas A&M is not all that because I'm not sure that they would let someone into LSU with such poor grammar and punctuation.

Rankings are dumb. Get your degree, work hard, learn skills, and build a reputation for yourself, and success will follow.
A degree is just a checkbox, that is (too) often a requirement to get in the door. By year 5 of a career, the school you got your degree from is just a notation next to the checkbox.

Ivy league school grads are starting to get looked down upon. Entitled kids that are halfway book smart and no way common sense smart.

This is not the case when you are moving into executive level positions. Degree and level of education are more heavily scrutinized. It is the reason I had to go back and get a M.S. from UT, even with an abundance of skills and experience.

There is absolutely truth to this. In my experience, Ivy Leaguers have become so accustomed to being able to skate by feeding profs the buzz words the prof is looking for, that they don't develop any real analytical ability.
In my law classes, over a decade ago, the Ivy grads would always have a canned answer ready to go when called on, well rehearsed, full of thr buzz words of the day, and enough elegant sounding bulllshit to tie them all together.
When the prof would call BS on the answer, noting it didn't actually address the questions posed, the Ivy kids went full deer-in-headlights. They had no idea what to do when their canned answers got rejected.
Sad for a group of universities that have prided themselves for centuries on developing innovators.

Soooo you had to check a box? And UT became the notation next to the box?

On a serious note, A&M is actually a really good school.
My daughter might enroll there in a couple years and if she does, I’d have no problem buying my first A&M shirt.

This is a sports board. But I do know what it is like to be an alumnus of the more respectable state school.

Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play football, we ain't come to play school, classes are pointless.

Maybe crawling back to earlier status.
A&M was ranked right about here when I went there in the early 90s and then slipped consistently down under the school for the masses plan pushed by our progressive master John Sharpe, who needs to be pushed out to pasture yesterday.
