And of course ALabama.com throws a shot in at Auburn's coach Freeze. frick that liberal bama rag

Ross had been committed to Liberty under then-head coach Hugh Freeze, but Ross reopened his recruitment once Freeze accepted the job at Auburn.
Well obviously, had Freeze stayed at Liberty, this never would've happened. Pretty cut and dry that he is to blame.

Kinda like 'Netflix & Chill' in College Station.
More like a team vote for a guy convicted of this offense, after he violated that probation by committing another crime in baton rouge... right?

Vols Send a Horrible Message
quote:
When asked at a media gathering of Southeastern Conference coaches earlier this week if he would ever sign somebody who’s been convicted of rape, Florida Coach Urban Meyer, who has two daughters, didn’t hesitate. “No,” he said. “That’s an area where we won’t go.”
quote:
That’s all well and good, but that doesn’t come close to erasing what Hood took part in five years ago when he and a 17-year-old friend bound Hood’s 14-year-old cousin with duct tape and viciously raped her with a toilet plunger. The 17-year-old was tried as an adult and sent to prison for 10 years. Hood was tried as a juvenile, found guilty of kidnapping and aggravated rape and put into state custody until he was 17.

Didn't Tennessee sign a recruit who did something with a plunger if I remember correctly? So be careful throwing stones.
I recall that it had something to do with a Turkey Baster, but perhaps it might just be another situation involving the Vols.

Oh I totally forgot all about that loser. While I don’t agree offering him, you have to look who the HC was during 2009-2013. Derek Dooley was by far the worse HC at UT at the time he was hired. We would now know that Dooley, Butch and Pruitt are 3 of the worse coaches to be a HC.
Even though Hood was convicted as a juvenile at 13 years old, he got in more trouble for not stopping it and going to get help. He did not rape his cousin, but for him watching he is just as sick in my book as the 17 year old that actually raped her while
He watched.
But let’s not act like Derek Dolley is the only SEC school to offer him. Steve Spurrier, Houston Nutt, and Gene Chizik also offered him along with 6 more other schools offered him a scholarship.
Now that we actually have a competent administration, I don’t ever see Heupel or the current administration accepting anything like that. Heupel has showed to run a clean program so far. The upper brass has also shown with the Pruitt issues that the Vols will run a clean program under that watch and lead by example.
