Feels fair. Spencer catches some heat on here, but this year he is doing really well. Yeah he didnt throw a TD in a week one, but despite 9 sacks he was 30 of 39.
For the year he is 55-63 for 698 yards with 3 TD's and 0 INT's. You can't ask a guy to more than that, especially when they know he is going to pass and a 3 man rush still gets to him.

Do they always do co-defensive player of the week?
Not to knock a nice performance, but Asante's game doesn't hold a candle to what Jett did this week.
11 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFL, 2 INT

Asante and Fairweather were the only real bright spots we had on Saturday night and the only reason we won. Asante was a one-man wrecking crew. He reminded me of Renne Curran for Georgia a few years back. Just wrecking shite sideline to sideline.

Did you watch the Au game? Asante WAS the AU defense. Was like watching Takeo Spikes back in the day. Even on plays that he didn't record a stat, he still influenced the play.

Wish walk-on Mekhi Mews could’ve gotten a co-special teams award for his punt return TD.
He honestly has an argument as our most valuable player so far this season and he’s not even on scholarship

USCe, Ms State, Aubs, OM, UK, Mizzou, Arky & Vandy = Big 8.

I think Mews got a scholarship similar to Hot Rod. It just wasn't made public knowledge.

Watched the entire Auburn game, was a fun one, love late night SEC play.
Asante had a great game, not claiming otherwise. Jett's game was next level.

Give him all the NIL money. Sweet Jesus.

Being on walk-on in the NIL era isn't so bad.

Well, Jeffcoat did as well. Thanks.

Still not quite sure why Mizzou didn't accept Jeffcoat back for one more season. Or why SCAR dropped as a transfer him during the offseason.

List is shite. We had a D-lineman score a TD.
