The transfer portal may be the nail in the coffin.

When you can't beat them, change the rules.

When Saban doesn’t have the talent advantage he is purely average.

It’s why he couldn’t hack it in the NFL

History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.

NIL is not our problem. Poor hires and and lack of discipline are where this starts and ends.

Was just thinking the same thing. Now that a lot of schools can pay players like Bama always did, they just don’t have the same advantages they used to have.

That sounds like Kirby, Kelly and a host of others.

Same thing happened with Bear Bryant and his large rosters.

Talent isn't their issue. Saban can't develop for shite.

And who is responsible for this excuse?

Saban doesn’t have the fire he had from 2009-2017. He’s too old to have that kind of drive now. It would kill him. And what’s sad is that Alabama will run him out of the university like they did with their previous coaches when they started losing 3+ games a season

Losing their S&C coach Scott Cochran in 2020 was a huge blow. I truly believe he was one of the main reasons they were so successful during those 10 years.

He needs to retire while he is still on top but he is just stubborn and if not careful will drag Bama down further.
