Been one hell of a ride. Everybody in the stadium and the world knew he should have put an actual quarterback in the game.

Saban just said that they never considered putting in another QB.

Just a completely different coach than we had in 2008

I think the talk is going to get louder for sure. Time is not on his side.

It’s over. Saying it’s not is burying our head in the sand because of feelings.

That's some Joe Biden level ineptitude.

Watching him on sideline you can see the decline. I 1st noticed it 3-4 years ago

Prezactly. The question is how long do we tolerate it.

Unfortunately as long as Saban wants. It’ll be a Bowden situation. He’s earned it.

Fortunately Saban isn’t wired like that. I expect this will be his last season. He tried to reinvent the team one last time and it failed. No shame in it.

He won’t pull a qb who couldn’t hit water if he jumped out of a boat. He’s not walking out on his own.

Seriously though Milroe is clearly the best QB on the roster right now

The only thing I don’t understand is him claiming to go back to the old pre-2016 ways but sticking with a mobile QB that clearly can’t read a defense unless a man is obviously open.

Define clearly. Because it would be hard for a QB to post a worse performance than he did tonight. He didn’t even really leverage his running skills. Was hesitant, to make a decision and then slow to react once he did.

Losing games isn’t the end of the world; losing games and making no improvement is.

It was painful to watch, another qb should of got a chance after the second int. From then on it was obvious we wasn't going to win with that qb play.

But I'm grateful for everything Saban has done and he gets to decide when he's finished.

Anyone who watched the scrimmages will tell you the same things.

Buchner looked ok, but nothing wows you. Not great arm strength.

Simpson not even close to ready. Can't read the defense at all.

Longeran looks natural but true freshman. Game too fast for him.

Milroe was clearly the best overall.

You have no objective criteria for this because none of the other candidates have had meaningful touches. Hell, they barely even got on the field in mop up time against MTSU
