Looks like we have a clear cut winner in the DBU debate.

At this point how anybody can say that anybody other than Alabama is DBU is just strange and bizarre.
Florida fans have given up trying for the most part, and LSU fans sure as frick need to give it up at this point.

LSU had good DB’s in 2018/19. Delpit and Sting were exceptional, everyone else adequate. We haven’t been DBU in a while and most of it is Raymond’s fault. Too many misses in recruiting and not a hood enough coach to elevate under talented kids. Ironically , Raymond’s fall began when he whiffed on Surtain. He passed on other kids because he told the staff Surtain was a lock. He also whiffed on Brown. Delpit , Sting, and C Fulton were his only big recruiting wins from 2015—2020. Perfect example is Jay Ward. Great kid. Good player. He was the best DB at LSU for three straight seasons. Solid player, but not dominant. Tolliver, Savion Smith, Ricks—-all busts.

I think another former State player will break into this ranking next year - Martin Emerson. He was really good for the browns last year and this could be his big breakout year.
Also, keep an eye on Emmanuel Forbes - 1st round pick this year. Size is a bit of concern but the guy was the best cover corner in CFB last year

CBs are so cyclical. It changes every 24-48 months in the NFL for a myriad of reasons not the least of which are age, injuries, drafts, systems, etc.
Anyone who doesn't understand that having a great DL and Pass Rush game in front of some of these CBs doesn't make a difference ... doesn't understand the game and how it all plays into these player rankings, among other things.

The amount of defensive talent MSU has put into the NFL the past decade is unreal

Tyson Campbell was ranked 6th in PFF CB rankings for 22. But he plays for Jax where nobody gets accolades.

Where are the LSU CB’s

Saban proved he could win with the most talent on the field… when talent is close, not so much.

I’d definitely have Tre White over Terrell.
