Mike Griffith is not a UT guy because he worked in the market.
He’s Butch Jones’s little bitch and is in no way a UT homer. Everyone in Knoxville hates him and makes fun of him.
He's covered Bama, UTe, and UGA. He's a Michigan st grad and obviously covered them in school (maybe a little afterward as well).
No one at UGA likes him.
He is the anti-dawg (doesn't like any UGA tradition including Jacksonville/WLOCP, COFH, and winning QBs like Stetson Bennett or Buck Belue).
He and Jeremy Pruitt come off as best friends(ironically, I haven't seen any Bama fans cuss him out ever).

Unbiased opinion: SC has a much better home environment than UT.
Agreed. I always root for SC when it doesn’t hurt LSU. The fans and atmosphere are amazing considering their general lack of success. They deserve better from the football program.

Absolutely. The atmosphere at Williams Brice is much better than Neyland. I've been to LSU, Auburn, A&M, and Bama which all had much better environments than Tenn.

Tiger stadium is number one by a lot. It’s not even close. You can try all you want, but lies are always lies. LSU Tiger Stadium is number 1!!!. Deep down you know it’s true. Everyone does.
Nah. I actually think Auburn is more impressive but I realize I’ve had more chances to experience Jordan-Hare.
I’ve been to AU-LSU games in Tiger Stadium in ‘97, ‘01, ‘03, ‘05, ‘07, and ‘09. Most involved Top 25 matchups and in some, both were Top 10. I also attended a Top 10 battle in 2012 when #3 S Carolina played at LSU.
In all of those experiences I witnessed a great atmosphere. But nothing I haven’t experienced at Auburn. The numbers also show Auburn as a better home field advantage:
Home Wins against Top 5 Teams Last 40 seasons:
AU- 11
LSU- 8
Home Wins against Top 10 Teams Last 40 seasons:
AU- 21
LSU- 20
Auburn has proven to be a better home field advantage in big games.

Outside of Florida (and Georgia, who hasn’t been there), the top 9’s last game at kyle field was an L.

Campus is nice, I'll give you that.
It's so much better than it looked just 10 years ago. The renovations and new dorms look really nice. The new student union buildings and the pedestrian bridge were great additions. They've also added more green space, so the campus doesn't look like a concrete block anymore.

They are always underrated in these lists. One of my most respected fan bases.

Ive been to all of them
LSU is the best total environment….stadium, tailgate, etc
The cleanest most fan friendly stadiums to me are Kentucky, Miss St, Arkansas. Site lines are good, etc.
I’d lump Bryant Denny and Sanford together….good all around not spectacular in any area.
Neyland, BenHillG, JH, and Willy B are the most hostile.
A&M and Ole Miss are the most unique (good or bad based on your opinion)
Missouri is good at night, terrible in the daytime.
And Vanderbilt the best road-trip. Nashville is good for a weekend, you’re likely the defacto home team, and your generally not stressed about the outcome. Also the typical Vandy fan is a graduate, successful, and doesn’t govern their life by the outcome of a football game so you’re unlikely to be confronted or forced to throw hands.

They normally lose most of their crowd around half-way through the 3rd qtr.

I have never been to Neyland for a game, mainly because just watching a game from there on TV gives me a headache from the constant cacophonous scraps of crap music the DJ plays ever second they can. I can see why it is hostile, though. They use the same protocol in torture. Even if your team is winning there, though, it does not make for a pleasant way to spend the fall afternoon.

This is the truth. We rarely get night games so 13th is fair imo.

I am not someone to ride LSU's coat tails... but they have the best game day experience in college football hands down. I dare say they have the best game day experience in the US across every sport, college or professional.
Hell, they are probably in the top 5 around the world. It really is something to behold in person.
The Vols, I am sure, put on a good show. When they are ranked highly. I've seen a lot of dead Tenn. crowds over the years though.

1000% can't be beat
Is it the same as decades past? Maybe not but technology, cost & convenience of home play a part.
