Now that football season is nearing

I really think this is the year that the Vols beat UGA. A home game and no more Stetson and year three in big Josh's tenure. Vols are a very well coached team at this point with plenty of veteran leadership on both sides and plenty of talent.
Our SEC schedule lines up pretty well with only having to play Florida, Bama, Mizzou and Kentucky on the road.
The UF game definitely makes me a little nervous though just because but they are going to be a really bad team in general most likely. SC, UGA and Aggies all have to come to Neyland.
I do think we drop the Bama game though. Heupel 's teams tend to wet the bed on the road in hostile environments against talented teams until proven otherwise and mobile QBs tend to kill us every year.
My top 5 SEC prediction:
1: Bama
2: UT
3: UGA
4: LSU
5: SC

Is Milton ready for the spotlight? What WR production did you lose?
I recognize the offensive system is easy to reload year after year (see Briles at Baylor) but it’s not going to be easy in the SEC.

While anything can happen, I feel like UGA's schedule is set up to make that unlikely. Teams like UGA with lots of talent but needing new talent to step in to fill gaps for guys leaving tend to be most vulnerable in the first part of the season.
As the season gets closer to the end when teams have more injuries piled up and teams have had time for inexperienced players to gain playing time... talent is more likely to win out.
UGA plays UT in their second to last game of the year. They're not playing a new starter at QB... they'll be playing a guy with 10 starts under his belt.
As a UGA fan, I'm more worried about SC in week 3 after two cupcakes, even though it's in Athens or @Auburn at the end of september. First SEC opponent and first SEC road game are much more of a worry than a late season opponent who is inferior in talent. There's much more of a chance of new player miscues.
