Coastal has a segment of fans who absolutely despise USC because of their split from us in the early 1990's. There's still a lot of bad blood there. I grew up and live in Conway and I think CCU fans are a joke. Their fan support is nowhere near what it should be, their student body is probably 80% out-of-state and most of them are here to party at the beach, not attend sporting events. When we swept them in the 2010 Supers, we outdrew them in Myrtle Beach when they hosted. Then they won the CWS in 2016 and all of a sudden they think they're the best baseball program in the state.
