You should try a big game at LSU.

Tell me it's the off-season without telling me it's the off-season. New week, who has the best jerseys?

Unpopular opinion: Michie Stadium deserves to be on here, obviously above the Rose Bowl which is only an atmosphere for games not involving UCLA.

Literally six of the 7 games I’ve attended in Baton Rouge have been Top 25 matchups and most of the teams were Top 5 or Top 10.

They need to make all playoff games on campus and put Championship Game at Rose Bowl every year on New Years Day

which rarely happen since Auburn is only good once in a decade or 2. Your point is therefore moot.
Think again. In the past 40 seasons…
AU has beaten 3 #1 teams in Jordan-Hare
LSU has beaten 1 #1 team in Tiger Stadium
AU has beaten 11 Top 5 teams in Jordan-Hare
LSU has beaten 8 Top 5 teams in Tiger Stadium
AU has beaten 21 Top 10 teams in Jordan-Hare
LSU has beaten 20 Top 10 teams in Tiger Stadium
If LSU is so superior to Auburn, why in the world does Auburn have such a better track record of winning big games at home? We literally have the best home field advantage in the country.
Tiger Stadium is a great scene. But it’s also the most overrated venue in the country… especially by its own fans.

I’ve experienced 6 of these 10. Here are my honest thoughts:
LSU- I’ve been to 7 games here, 6 were Top 25 matchups. It’s a great scene. Easily a Top 5 atmosphere. LSU fans inflate its reputation however… it doesn’t stand alone at the top.
Penn St- attended the White Out game 2 years ago. Blew me away. Certainly the best atmosphere I’ve been to outside the SEC. On par with a big game at a top tier SEC school
Tennessee- attended AU games here in 1999, 2004, and 2009. Attended Bama-UT in 1994 and a random WKU game in 2013. Two of these were “big games” most notably the ‘04 Auburn game. Gameday was there etc. Tennessee is loud but it’s nothing special. It’s either 4th or 5th in the SEC.
Notre Dame- I went to the 2009 USC game. Top 25 matchup. Close game. It was completely overrated. Noise level was basically like Ole Miss. Not at all impressed.
Clemson- went to the 2011 AU game. Big game but it was a noon kickoff…. Probably not fair to compare since it wasn’t at night, but I’d give it a 7/10. Nothing memorable.
Rose Bowl- went to the 2009 National Title Rose Bowl when Bama played Texas. Absolutely gorgeous setting. But the stadium is a dump and its “atmosphere” has more to do with the San Gabriel mountains than the venue itself.
Best atmospheres in the SEC: Auburn, LSU, Florida (gap)… then Tennessee, South Carolina (gap)… then Bama and Georgia. Than everyone else.
Never been to Texas A&M however. And needs to be noted South Carolina ranks where it does due to its impressive noise level. Stadium is a dump though.
LSU- I’ve been to 7 games here, 6 were Top 25 matchups. It’s a great scene. Easily a Top 5 atmosphere. LSU fans inflate its reputation however… it doesn’t stand alone at the top.

The stadium design makes it sound a lot louder and the stands are on top of the field.

That's alot of words from an Auburn fan to say, unsurprisingly, that they think their school's atmosphere is better. Well, no shite. Imagine, you can't be objective. The ratings are from CBS, not an LSU grad. Probably a bit more objective than Earl from Auburn or Alphonse from Port Allen.

You make a great point. When Saban first got to Alabama he was talking about digging the field out in Bryant-Denny and extending the seats closer to the field so it would be louder on the field during games.

Classic City Alum- I thought Georgia hasn’t played A&M at their stadium yet. How did you decide to rank them where you did?

Quite literally because y’all have weird voodoo shite that occurs when you play Alabama in JHS and it has skewed the results. That is the sole explanation. I have not yet been to a game at Auburn but it is without question a top 5 atmosphere in CFB and more deserving of a spot than 90% of that list.

Going to lsu games for 20 years now plus countless road games, I’ll agree with you about Jordan hare being fricking loud. It’s right there with LSU but idk I’ve been to some absolutely insane games in DV. So bummed I didn’t make it in for Alabama this past year.
Personally I think auburn is louder than Alabama, Georgia, A&M, Florida, Texas, oregon and a few other notable atmospheres I’ve been to
