You yourself, just a few threads over, said you couldn’t win at the highest level throwing for only 200 yards per game. You indicated that those were garbage numbers now days. Saban has said many times that he won't go after a transfer unless he thinks that player will start.
It's pretty obvious that they're going after Buchner because of his connection to Rees, and the fact that all of the QBs on the roster currently are underwhelming.

At this point I'm hoping that Buchner is good enough to beat out Milroe, and that he doesn't completely suck arse, but I think this upcoming season might be the worst since Saban's first season at Alabama, and the end of the dynasty.

Partially correct, I said you can't win a national championship with a pocket passer who throws for 200 yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and .5 interceptions per game.

And LSU didn't win a national championship last year, did they?

I couldn’t care less as long as I see Bama football that looks like Bama football. The quarterback should not be the end all be all. He should be a distributor, not the offense.
On first and goal at the 5 I don’t need 3 passing plays. We threw the ball like 24 times against k state. The players were comfortable, Saban was comfortable and it showed. Throwing it 60 times is not the Bama way.

I’m much more concerned with who our o line and d line starters will be. We needed that out of the portal more than a qb who will probably never see the field.
