I've searched for 2023 attendance numbers for college baseball but can't find them. Anyone know a website that lists attendance?

If there's two things these states support like nobody else, it's college baseball and regional pro wrestling.

Butts in seats or tickets sold? The numbers are largely different. The numbers would imply MSU and LSU would have 10,000+ on midweek games. Impressive numbers none the less but something less than completely accurate.

I looked up Big10 numbers; only two over 1000 and Northwestern only gets 300.

The fact that Tennessee is in the top 20 with the size of their stadium is not a good look for the sport. I love it but I wish it was more popular

Good point. With regards to stadium official capacity...Southern Miss' average attendance is 114% stadium capacity. Tennessee is only 99.9918% of their official capacity.

Skip Bertman's first year at LSU was 1984 and the avg attendance was 918 people. After he won 5 NCAA titles in a 10 year span LSU was packing the old Alex Box stadium which was over 7k at the time.

Skip Bertman

I will always consider him to be the greatest corch in college baseball history. What a stud.

One of the many funny stories about Bertman is when he was talking to Paul Byrd regarding his struggles on the mound. He told Byrd "It's not your fault. It's my fault, I should've never recruited you."

When men were men.

Like Ole Miss, many, if not most of Southern’s baseball attendees tailgate behind the outfield fences during their games.
