Brad wing 72 yard punt vs Bama in 2011

Punting is safer than being a kicker

Dude you should know better. The punter at ole Miss, Steve smith maybe made a 92 yard punt against USM. About 80 in the air

I watched just to make sure it was this punt. I don't know how you do it any better than this.

Hands down luckiest bounce I’ve possibly seen on a punt
It did have a lucky bounce, no doubt, but are you going to ignore that it traveled 61 yards in the air? he punted with the LOS on the 24 and it landed on the 15. I don't remember ever seeing one travel that far in the air (although I suspect there had to have been one at some point). Most punts that are considered great do get some advantage from a bounce, but think about it. If it had gone straight and ended in the end zone they would have brought it out to the
20 making it a 55 yard punt anyway.

2011 Brad Wing was next level

The only punt I’ve seen better was the missed FG by oSU at the end of the Peach Bowl as the clock struck 12:00

Yea... we wouldn't know anything about that.

If you want to see the master and someone who put punters on the map, look up Ray Guy from Thomson, GA and Southern Miss and his NFL. He changed the game.

I said when it happened that when things are going that right even in the kicking game its hard to doubt destiny. I never saw a better one....not many people have.

Would have been a circus catch considering how out of place he was relative to the punt...exceedingly lucky break for UGA....anyone who has watched much football knows that thing gets in the endzone way more than it don't....
Is that UGA punt just a product of the Vol player stupidly letting it go while at his 20?

I've seen Punt god do this with his eyes closed.
Posted on 4/4/23 at 8:16 am to SquarePizzaRebel
It was Ok. It's in every punters job description tho.
I prefer one that can do this...
And why was UGA even putting against Tennessee?

The Ole Miss punter was Bill Smith. He also had a 77 yard punt in the same game along with the 92 yarder. In warm ups his senior year, he had a punt go from end zone to end zone in the air.
