I agree with the other guy. Lets face it, if the top 3 teams had not shite the bed we probably don't get the tourney championship either.

It is a major let down after 5 years to not get anywhere in the tourney. What would the argument even be if we had lost to New Mexico in the first round in 2019?

I mean I’m not gonna drag you. I hate watching them in their 3rd sweet 16 in 4 years as much as you. But I mean again they haven’t even beaten anyone above seed line 8 yet in his tenure and we are right there with them in the last 3 regular seasons… the tourney giveth and the tourney taketh away.

Just saw this tweet:

In the last five NCAA tournaments, Virginia, Baylor and Kansas have each won national championships.

Those three schools haven’t made it out of the first weekend of the Dance in any of the four years they didn’t win.

Incredibly hard to consistently advance in this tournament.

What would the argument be if we beat Houston last year or Miami the year before? See how dumb hypotheticals are?

We got our asses handed to us by those two teams. New Mexico we almost blew and Bruce's record wouldn't look so hot if we choked that one away.

I am still agitated by the way our game was officiated. The refs will always let teams play in the tournament but it was called like it was a typical SEC home game for Yale with all 50/50 calls or even play on calls going their way.

Even the phantom review that took 5 minutes was strange, almost like they wanted to ice Denver.

Something still seems off about how that game played out.

we need to play smarter......period. CBM probably had more than a handful of tech's this season. It took him 3 fricking minutes to get booted. Three minutes.

We turn the ball over far too much.

We go into lulls just about every game. Most games we were able to wake back up. This one we weren't

With the exception of a few, our FT shooting is garbage.

We must find better PG play.

We squandered a golden opportunity this year. Hopefully BP learned from his mistakes.

That is all true. You could just tell the whistle was getting to them and making them play tighter. Almost like they were playing a true road game in the SEC.

This is all stupid. We were a very hit team the lasts couple weeks. Won the SEC Tourney and get thrown into the toughest region as a 4. Most of the bracketilogy people had us at a 3. Then we get absolutely cooked by the refs. Also we were denied a chance to play for the title in 2018 by a terrible no call and a call that to this day I have never seen called with under 10 seconds left. The NCAA hates Bruce from his UT days We have been at the top of the SEC for the last 5 years. Would you rather bring Tony Barbee days back?

Yep. People can point to FT shooting or whatever else, but as close as the game was at the end and knowing how hosed we got by the refs all game is highly suspect. If refs called the jump balls, fouls, phantom finger touches out of bounds 50/50 then this game isn’t close.

It wasn't just one game. We played like that at home often. We just played with a low bball IQ at times.......home and away. It caught up to us at the worst possible time.

I get all of that.

But Yale went down easy to SDSU by 28 pts and it was never close.

We shot 75% as a team for the season.

Inexplicably, an 88% guy missed front end, a 75% guy missed an and one, and an 80% guy missed both shots- all in the last 2 minutes of that game.

I would have bet on Denver, Tre, and KD going 3/5 at the worst, but we went 0/4.

Yes because all the prayer shots with 2 seconds left on the shot clock did t go in for Yale and SDSU was allowed to defend without the fear of a whistle blowing.
