I can’t even imagine now that they’re winning constantly.

The last couple of times there haven't been many AU fans in Athens, so it probably isn't much of an issue anymore.

Something about a grown arse man cosplaying as a member of Hells Angels, wearing a tattered Stafford jersey, and sporting a Monster Logo tattoo barking at your family just isn't quite the same as the other schools' little traditions you mentioned.

Lol. Never seen that but I'll trust that you did. But what you're talking about is an exception. UGA fans do bark, hell we bark at each other (one fan yells "Go dawgs!" and the rest yell "Sic 'em" and start barking... as that's what we do on kickoffs).

An Alabama fan teabagged a passed out LSU fan on video after a game once. It's not okay, but it's also not representative of Alabama fans. It was just a guy.

Has a UGA fan gotten in the face of a family doing nothing and barked? Sure. Does it happen all the time? No.

Do UGA fans bark all the time? Yeah, about as often as Bama fans yell "roll tide".

UGA students taunting LSU fans at the 2005 seccg with chants of Katrina takes the cake for me. I went up to the students and said people lost their lives. The kid told me to frick off. I knocked out 2 of his teeth.

Mocking Katrina is in poor taste.

Physically assaulting someone for mocking Katrina is criminal.

You sir need to grow up before you get locked up.

I would argue that it's a pretty damn good representation of Alabama fans.

From one who use to party on the tracks and loved going to Athens.
Samford is the only stadium in the SEC with steps to the upper deck. Everyone else has ramps. The bathroom at Sections 102-103 has leaked sewer across the concourse since the 90's. Entrance to get in the stadium is deplorable. No on campus parking anymore. Trash and litter in the streets of downtown.

I think you underestimate how often it happens, and how aggressive it is.

Obviously if a fight starts, or something happens the visitor is outnumbered, so you just mostly have to stand there and take it. Most those clowns never went to the school so its even weirder to defend people barking and cussing you out.

The fans Gamecock is afraid of:

Can you get a ticket or will they let you come down from the upper deck?

I mean barking is annoying but bama fans actually kill and sexually assault other fans. Plus you gotta worry about their players killing you.

You will hug me outside that stadium. Clarke County jail is reserved for UGA athletes and so sm not going there.
I stay in Dudley Park during the weekend so if you can't get a ticket I can be reached there.

Great. More tickets for UGA fans.

Memphis Tigers at the Liberty is the worst for an Ole Miss fan

I was at that miserable game on Labor Day weekend in 2019. It was every bit of 100 degrees that day. The Memphis fans around us were very fired up. We easily diffused their anger by reminding them we are not very good.

MSU Eli's senior year.

Just zero class and an unbelievable amount of shite-talking from a group of people about to be 2-10 on the season. But we beat them 31-0 so they were awfully quiet by halftime.

Related: back then you pissed on the walls in the men's bathroom on the home side. Those poor fricks couldn't even afford a trough-style pisser.

It's true. I seent it.

The best part about War Memorial games were the legendary Hog on Hog golf course fights at the tailgate next to the stadium.

I mean not wrong BR isn’t safe. However, ttown is probably sneaky dangerous between Saban and Oats players and just the area being kinda shitty.

I was at the Ole Miss/LSU game this year. Before the game, the LSU fans were just as you'd imagine: welcoming. We were hospitably provided delicious food and ample amounts of booze. I think everyone just wanted to see a good game, and it was hot that day, so staying hydrated was necessary. I don't remember any LSU fan initiating conversation with us, provoking us, etc., other than an occasional "Tiger Bait!" from a distance. No big deal, of course. No one threatened us or anything.

During the game, most of them cheered for their team and ignored us. When we cheered (remember, we were up 17-0 at one point), we'd get a few jeers and occasionally a bird flipped at us. No big deal. No one threatened us or anything. Once LSU took the lead, the fans around us went back to ignoring us.

As we walked out of the stadium, we inevitably got some jeers and a lot of "bye bye" waves. Again, no big deal. No one threatened us. After the game, LSU fans largely ignored us until I asked them for directions. A kind LSU fan not only pointed me in the right way, but he also gave our crew a few colbeers for the walk. I don't remember any LSU fan initiating a conversation with us after the game.

It is what you make of it. If you're a jackass, you'll probably get harassed. There are bad apples in every fanbase, but, fortunately, they're rare.

I tell people that all the time. If you have thin skin and cry then LSU fans will swarm you and who knows how far it goes. You laugh or ignore them and beer and food is usually on the menu.
