Can I ask you…do you know Christ? Have you heard and believed the Gospel?
The gospel proclaims that all people everywhere and throughout all time have sinned and rebelled against God our Creator and stand justly condemned under his holy judgment; but God graciously saves sinners through his Son Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death on the cross as a substitute for sinners, and was raised from the dead, so that all who repent of their wickedness and trust in him alone receive full forgiveness of sins and eternal life through him.

First and foremost, we are brothers in Christ, and all of the silliness that goes on between rivals means nothing when a brother asks for prayers. You can count on me lifting you up to our Heavenly Father throughout your surgery and beyond. Prayers for your anesthesiologist and surgeon as well.
P.S. I lost my wife about the same time as you, so you and I belong to a fraternity that no one should ever want to join.

Prayers for you fellow Dawg and State alumnus. I hope and pray that the surgery is successful. With God, nothing is impossible. Though it appears your condition is bleak we know the Great Healer (Jesus Christ) can heal you through the efforts of your Doctors, Nurses, family and friends.

I prayed. Been checking in all day for an update but haven't seen one. Really hope you make it through. Widow maker vein tried to get me three years ago. Close call. I quit smoking for a year but digressed and smoke three a day. I really hope everything is going good. Half my family lives in upper Mississippi. So I have no animosity to any miss st people. My people up there are good people that like to bbq and play bluegrass on the porch. All about family. God bless.

Don't know what else to say except we'll be thinking about you and praying for you.
As far as smoking, it took my uncle and my grandfather. Both of my parents quit because of who we lost. My dad's still around in his 70s; my mom died due to unrelated issues.
Hope it all goes well my friend.
