Actually, his development started improvement when Dan Enos was on staff at Alabama. When Hurts played as a backup his last season at Alabama, his throwing mechanics and confidence were a night and day difference from the previous season. He didn't even look like the same quarterback. Enos may not have had much success as an OC, but as a QB coach, he is utterly fantastic.
