There is a less than 0% chance of any of those things happening. Literally none, whatsoever.

So again you can say "well, it's POSSIBLE so let's just discuss the possibility" but you aren't actually discussing anything. You're just throwing shite at the wall based on nothing. I'd love to hear you explain, again specifically and not just in vague bullshite, why any of the things you mentioned could actually happen in reality.

You’re coming unglued old man. Time to step away from the Compaq Presario.

On the spectrum of nothing to death penalty, SOMETHING will happen, because it covers ever possibility.

Yeah, I don't foresee anything of the sort happening because of this.

So now this is your stance, when just a page ago you said:

quote:

The only intention of this thread to to discuss the possibility of things spinning out of control.

The ONLY, in your words, goal in this thread was to discuss things SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL. So again, back to your original intent, please give us specifics on how or really just any conceivable way possible that our athletic program could spiral out of contorl.

It’s is pretty impressive how dismissive of the whole situation UGA fans are… a university employee was driving players around at 3am in a university vehicle after leaving a strip club.

Clearly some protocols were either not in place, or were being ignored. That falls on the coaches and administration.

Yeah this right here. Lets get one thing straight nobody on this board wanted those guys to get into an accident. Nobody wants to see loss of life.

That said, its weird that no UGA fans see an issue with employees of UGA driving players to a strip club in a rented vehicle paid for by UGA. That should raise some questions internally at the very least.

Look, I hate UGA and every single one of their fans more than anything, but nothing will happen here

Car was possibly paid for out of a slush fund that Kirby Smart uses to buy hookers and heroin for recruits. This is highly unlikely, but is technically possible, so OP will be starting a thread about it shortly.

This whole thread is an angle. What are you talking about.

This thinking is dumb. Carolina fans are not worried about "taking UGA down" ...yall have been the better program for 100+ years...we are used to that.

but for the safety of student athletes, employees etc... yall should have some concern. A little bit maybe. Not run directly into defensive mode

No one is saying there isn’t an issue. But to make the leap that this incident will bring about some of things mentioned in this thread particularly sanctions against the football program or Smart is just ridiculous

Of course that is an issue. It’s just not an institutional failure in itself. UGA can’t control all the decisions of its employees and students. There isn’t any indication that this is a pattern or encouraged in the program.

ETA: for full context, UGA fans originally seized on a now deleted comparison to Penn State and Baylor, which was wildly unreasonable and clouded the whole discussion in terms of OP’s intentions with this discussion.

lol

why in the absolute hell would anyone be "concerened" about the safety of student athletes because of a tragic isolated incident? Taht's about as dumb as saying USC and City of Columbia should be on high alert for safety because there was a mass shooting at a mall last year.

How did you determine no UGA fans see an issue with it?

You mean other than the times where we explicitly say that’s an issue?

It's pretty impressive that it's mainly AU and USCe fans in here hoping that this is the downfall of UGA.

Eh..I see that two kids were killed and the press trying to sensationalize “ STRIPCLUB OH MY HEAVENS….”. Georgia could possibly be legally liable but I doubt this is going to connect to Kirby. Just a tragic accident that could happen at any big 5 school.

You're one of the reasons why people think this forum has gone to shite.

You need to check yourself and stop the trash talking of two young adults that died. GFYS
