Receiver stepped out of bounds looked like. I don’t think that’s targeting but they are wildly inconsistent on calling that

They’ll say he was defenseless or anything else if it’ll go against Ga.

I'm not sure about that one. He led with his shoulder and didn't really lower his head, but the side of the his helmet connected to the facemask of the receiver.

Enough for me, throw him out of the game.

First and goal.

Clean hit, no targeting, hit him hard but did so with the shoulder. Unlike the TCU player who clearly dropped his head.

If this stands Kirby should go nuclear in the press conference after

Wtf is he supposed to do? Let him catch the td? What a stupid rule.

Tackle correctly. Defend correctly. Not just lunge your body at the dude and take a gamble of severe injury for both players.

This is why I fricking loathe the so-called “targeting” penalty. That was a legitimate football hit.

If that hit is not allowed, then they may as well stop the game, send everyone home, turn out the lights, and declare the death of college football.

It will be terrible if they uphold the targeting call and that guy misses the first half of the NC game.
