Sad I missed this game. Had family over. What a coach we got for bball.
If only we could get our football program sorted out.

Shhhh, don't jinx it. Remember when Cuonzo beat Oregon early in the year?

How about them Tigers?
Love it.
Love it.

The biggest thing is, what he’s doing with little talent.

Team over individual talent.

Team indeed. Coachable guys who know their roles.
It is a joy to watch.

Yes indeed. Been a long time out in the wilderness.
Feels great.

Man. What an atmosphere.
So. Much. Fun.
Game experience is so much better.

Yeah, I definitely messed up. Chose KU game over Kentucky. Place was still rockin' early tho and so good to see! Last night during the broadcast they showed a clip from last year's KY game at near-empty Mizzou Arena. What a difference!
I did catch Braggin' Rights in person at least.

This feels different. Hodge is awesome and team overall is very deep.

Think Gates has any experience as a football OC?

That was the 2nd game in Cuonzo's 4th season. We are into conference play in Gates' first season and the team is about to be ranked. It's an exciting time to be a Tiger fan, although I agree it is too early to tell if Gates can sustain and build off this success

Whereas a certain “coach” 2 hours east is doing less with more.

I mean. He’s getting small school kids and the leftovers from the previous regime gelling into a constructive and competent offense. And these aren’t the most athletic of guys.
There’s something to be said as a coach in maximizing what you have.
That was Pinkel’s call card.

Plus, with this success this year, the recruiting in theory should get better (it has even before the season started) which just gives him better athletes to coach up.

That is what a coach's job is. No coach should be hired without that quality.
