That 3rd down catch against aTm his freshman year is forever etched in my brain.

Interesting. What’s he been up to?

I loved Davis at AU but he’s been an on the field coach for two years. Seems like a risk that didn’t need to be taken. Nobody loves hiring former players like Auburn does.

Good.
Now we can add several Bilitnikof awards to the case.
AU radio:”Heisman Hank gets the snap, hands it to Hunter, flips it to Cornonthe, flips it back to Heisman Hank, throws it 79 yard down field to a wide open _______”

Kinda feels like we struck out and settled but doesn't mean he won't be a good coach. Who knows?
Agree with Jang about Hilliard.

That’s exactly what it feels like. I’m surprised they didn’t just give the position to Trovon at that point.

Love stealing a 2nd year coach from Georgia Southern.

Bryan Matthews has confirmed it.
It seems like our two catch wonder will indeed be WR coach.
AU 251 will love this. He will be so excited his tail will be wagging like a little puppy dog.

Georgia Southern.
They threw more than 500 passes this year.
Helton completely changed their offense.
They are playing today at 11 central.

Saw that he is a “5 Star Coach” according to analytics. A lot of Auburn’s hires were based on analytics using a firm.
Analytic Firm Twitter
Hugh Freeze have they eyes emoji to one of their tweets about a “diamond in the rough” WR Coach.

Good to know. Hopefully he'll do well. It'll be interesting to see how the analytics play out.

Do we know a thing about analytics lol. Is there a chart or something.
This 5* coach analytics stuff seems like a new high point in excuses Auburn fans can make up at any given moment.

Agreed. He has been strong in recruiting and a loyal soldier for Auburn. Would like to see him get a chance on the field.

I don’t know a thing about it and they don’t just give out much information voluntarily. They like to get paid for it and Auburn is paying them. I do think I saw the analytics said we had one of the worst coaching staffs before this season started with the Boise Boys. Who knows if it works.

Dave Bartoo rebuilt Tulane’s and Oregon State’s coaching staffs two years ago and its worked out fairly well for them.
He also predicted Bama would not win a NC because of the low grading of both their coordinators and he hit that nail on the head.

I know this is sort of off topic - there sure seems to be a large number of former Auburn players that are assistant college football coaches (compared to other programs)

What happened to all of those millions that they had to spend for assistants?
