Maybe I'm late to this story, but I just read this article about DJ Ukelele transfering and Dabo speaking bullshite.
What the frick is he talking about?
First of all, he "knew" DJ was going to transfer, I doubt that.
Secondly, saying DJ couldn't be part of the team to finish out the season because of "the rules" is total bullshite.
Sorry for the ACC content, but it might be SEC related if he goes to Auburn or Florida. God knows they could both use a mediocre QB.

Do any coaches play players in their bowl games that have entered the portal? I would assume the answer to be no.

Jeez, did you even read the article you posted? Or can’t read. Its all laid out. If you delay portal entry you risk slots filled at schools. Although you can wait it could hurt your options. And to be eligible for sprig ball you must be enrolled in Jan.

After 20+ months of telling the world DJ was great....he was determined to prove himself right.....it was idiotic.

My neighbors son plays D1 football for P5 and was in the portal a year ago.
He said players don’t go into the portal unless they have the next team ready to take them asap. In fear of being on the market and going stale or no home.
It’s likely that DJ already had the team picked and sitting on go days/weeks in case he got benched for good.
Only the top dog players who go into the portal will go in without a team because they know they know they can pick just about anywhere they want. It’s a rare exception though
