He was a damn good and loyal DC at Alabama for a long time and if we can’t win it this year I hope he does.
The way they play reminds me a lot of the teams he was DC of at Alabama.. He learned from the best.

I'm not. frick Kirby, Georgia and the SEC.
Anyone pulling for the Dogs needs to visit Georgia and you'll change your tune quick after spending a little quality time their neckbeard fans. These inbreds have an almost concerning inferiority complex toward Saban and Bama and I wouldn't cheer for these scumbags if they froze my balls in dry ice or stuck my dick in a lawnmower.
If they lose, I'll revel in their misery.

Kirby really fricked Saban over when he left. Kirby raided his coaches and recruits. Smart also took a picture of a recruiting board on where Bama coaches rated them and showed it in recruiting visits...I felt very sorry for Saban for the way his "friend" did him. Saban is loyal to coaches to a fault and many would turn on him in a minute. Fished has to be the biggest arse-hat of them all.
But back to Kirby, I am neutral on him. Some people would say "all is fair in sec football to get the upper hand". But even if Saban holds no grudges, I think he burned a bridge for me to say I support him. He is a Georgia man at heart. The first chance he got to try and tear Bama down, he took it. And I believe it was personal.

Georgia lost 15 starters off last year's National Championship team to the NFL draft.
10 players to the transfer portal.
They didn't take 1 player from the transfer portal.
Kirby still started his former walkon at QB.
Doesn't matter.
Here they are back in the playoff.
A good coaching staff makes a team better, a HC look great.
Kirby has that right now.
Saban doesn't.

But has some to do with a weak schedule. Alabama pretty much dominated them in the SEC title game last year, with the same coaching staff we have this year, and I'm not defending any coach on this staff. Hopefully we'll have some changes.

Holy shite, you weren't kidding (had to Google this for verification). I can't believe I was never made aware of this.
I never hated Smart per se (even though I was glad he left at that time because Pruitt was a far better DC) but now frick that fat arse, redneck piece of shite. Saban should have taken that phone and made him choke on it.
I did hear about how when he arrived at Georgia, he literally brought documents from UA to coach with. But those documents had the Alabama logo crossed off which I found hilarious, tacky and amateurish. Dog fans wanted to constantly shite on Saban and Bama yet had no issues with hiring a Saban disciple that followed the Saban formula to a T.
Hopefully Bama and Florida can overcome their hump because that's literally the only reason Kirby is dominating at the moment. His competition has weakened. Hell, even last season a less than stellar Bama team absolutely embarrassed his arse (again) and would have done so in the rematch if Williams and Metchie had played.

The SEC east is weak AF. Yes, Tennessee had a really good season but UGA hosted them whereas Bama had to play them in Knoxville. Plus, Florida is a dumpster fire. South Carolina was awful early on when UGA played them. Georgia is good but their schedule is laughable.

UGA will take a step back if Monken ever takes another job. His play calling hides a lot flaws on that side of the ball.

You do you. I will give him his due but I can't root for him to win it again. We go head to head with Georgia in recruiting. Piss on Georgia.

Same. It won't do me any good at my age to drum up new negative energy at another team for rising to the top and learning how to surf the top of the wave like we have for sooooo long.
I don't care one way or another about UGA or their fans, no good or bad. I do respect Kirby. Not like they can do BETTER at out-recruiting us now that they're on top. So, we may as well pull for them and not some other trash conference.

I’m pulling for Khaki Pants. Kirby’s success hurts our recruiting.

Georgia played two teams in the regular season, Oregon and Tennessee. Tennessee was a home game and they played Oregon in Atlanta. They got LSU in Atlanta and will play Ohio St in Atlanta.
Georgia struggled in 2 of their 3 road games this year. They basically played a Clemson schedule with all their tough games at home or in Georgia.
Alabama destroyed them last year when Alabama had the ability to take the top off their defense. Damn near beat them when they couldn't do it, drops by young receivers doomed Alabama though.
Ohio St has the QB and the receivers to beat Georgia. Georgia might still win if SB doesn't turn the ball over. It's going to be a high scoring game. Ohio St is the worst possible matchup for Georgia of the 3 other team's in the playoffs.

I want UGA to destroy Ohio State but after that I hope they lose in the natty to whoever they play
