This article is about 4 years old and lists the richest town in each state based on median income. There is zero chance this is accurate. Mandeville certainly has higher numbers across the board.

Bellaire is basically Chinatown now.

I’d say it would be Highland Park in Texas.

quote:

In 2020, Highland Park, TX had a population of 9.14k people with a median age of 44.3 and a median household income of $218,611. Between 2019 and 2020 the population of Highland Park, TX declined from 9,168 to 9,143, a -0.273% decrease and its median household income grew from $211,136 to $218,611, a 3.54% increase. Median property value is $1.45 million.

Not going to lie that’s surprising, I’ve been to Senoia and all there is is the downtown area where they film The Walking Dead

No way the wealthiest town per capita for Arkansas isn’t Goshen.

Brentwood, TN has a median income of $160k, median home value of $682k, and average household income of $219k

Oak Hill isn't even a town, it's a part of town in Nashville. And it's not even close to as rich as Bell Meade if neighborhoods are now being called "towns"

Belle Meade as a median household income of $250k, an average household income of $409k, and a median home value of $1.9 million

I’ll be the 4th or so to chime in and say Madison, MS is the wealthiest place here, not Brandon. Not sure how that got messed up. Maybe Madison was lumped in as Jackson metro, while Brandon is far enough away to be a standalone?

I used to live in Peachtree City (before Walking Dead rolled into Senoia) - which is Senoia's neighbor. If this is true, TWD deserves all the credit because that town was literally a white trash version of Mayberry before the Californians took it over.

The two photos OP posted is literally what Senoia looked like when I lived in the area.

This list is 100% factually incorrect.

Florida - Palm Beach (AKA billionaire’s island, this one is not even close)

Georgia - Sea Island

South Carolina - Kiawah Island

Texas - Highland Park in Dallas

North Carolina - Lake Norman

Louisiana - Mandeville

This is the extent of my knowledge.

Brandon, Ms is where my crib be.

There must be some poors in Brandon somewhere because all around the area I live definitely surpass the median home values. BTW, we have the second lowest crime rate of any city in the state. We don't do the defund police crap out here. Our law enforcement are awesome and everywhere.

No surprise. It’s in west STL county. The home of Energizer/Eveready batteries.
