Does anyone here really believe Ohio St has a shot at the playoffs?

They have lost their last two matchups to Michigan by 15 in 2021 and 22 this year. Michigan has scored 42 and 45 respectively in those games. Michigan is not a juggernaut offense. Ohio St stopped recruiting defense when Urban “resigned,” and it been showing up the last two years. The committee will not put them in.

Y’all lost two games. They deserve to be in over y’all.

It’s simple. USC loses and they are in.
Does anybody really believe Alabama has a shot aside from bama fans and sec dick riders?

I really don’t. Their defense completely broke yesterday.
That was a terrible loss for them.
But, I don’t think Alabama is getting in either.

Yes. 1 loss is better than 2.
UGA/Michigan/TCU/SC/OSU/Bama
That should be the rankings today.

The Ohio state is a lock if either TCU or USC lose
no way the horn frogs get in with an L over buckeyes

In terms of losses, I would take a 1 loss team over a two loss team.
Why is this even a debate?

Doubt TCU gets punished for playing an extra game

While I agree bama is better than Ohio state, there’s 0% chance a 2 loss bama jumps a one loss Ohio state to get in.

Tell me who else deserved to be in that championship game besides 07 LSU?

The committee will disagree. They’ve already shown they disagree by having Bama in front of Clemson with one lose the last two weeks. The committee has always hated bad loses.

Ohio State's only loss is to a Top 5 Michigan. Alabama lost to Tennessee and LSU.
How is Alabama's record better than Ohio State's?

Tennessee has to be ahead of Bama. Head to head has to count for something

If TCU and Southern Cal lose, they’ll be 3rd
They only way they make 4th is if the committee ranks Georgia #1. If Michigan #1, and they will be this week the only team not named TCU or USC will be Bama.

Committee will decide on Ohio State/Bama at 5 on Tuesday, and then we will know. Whoever they put there should be the biggest Utah fans in the world next week. There is arguments to be made either way between the Tide/Buckeyes, and neither side can be too mad if they are left out, just excited/fortunate if they get in.

But theyre not, as we saw on last week’s rankings, and nothing has happened to change that. No need to belabor the point.

A 2 loss Bama was in front of a 1 loss Clemson last week. A 2 loss Bama wil be in front of a 1 loss OSU this week.
If TCU wins and USC loses it will be between Bama and USC. Depending on how USC loses it Utah there is an argument for 2 loss USC to be in over Bama that their losses were better. I doubt it though.

They also had LSU ahead of USC, despite getting blown out by Tennessee.
If they're remotely consistent, Bama is done.
