Did the NIL kill Bama football?

Saban sucked as a NFL coach. I don’t think his personality is wired to deal with paid athletes and that’s why Bama looks so lethargic. He cannot motivate them or keep them focused

That, and the transfer portal.

Saban really is tGOAT if he recruited all those guys and got them to come for free/cheap.

Game changed when he couldn’t just hand out free Dodge Chargers. He hasn’t been able to adapt.

Didnt bama have a top 3 ranked recruitment and transfer portal class?

I think this more even then NIL- NIL opens every school to do what Bama had been the best at, but the transfer portal means that Bama and no other school can easily stockpile talent and hold it hostage while it sits on the bench. This is why I sincerely doubt any team is going to have the level of dominance for the length of time that Bama had. The other rule change regarding the number of "analysts" which were actually coaching also means Bama lost that advantage as well.
Basically Bama's cheating broke the system so badly, the system just capitulated and became a free for all. However, I will be interested to see what new creative ways Bama comes up with to game the new system.

I stopped right here because you are either butthurt or stupid.

How do you lack so much self respect that you post about shite you have no clue about without a care in the world?

Bama killed? 2 losses by 4 points? Yeah, there's some issues but a "dead" Bama apparently would be the glory years for 95% of teams.
Has nothing to do with NIL or the transfer portal. We simply have two shitty coordinators because Saban made some bad hires.

Again, how the frick can you type out so much while being absolutely stupid? Are there not big red lights in your head that go off and say "Maybe I should do a little research before I open my mouth"?
Literally nothing you said is true, or even remotely reflects the issues at Alabama. Alabama has more talent right now than they have at any point in the past. Alabama has the current #1 recruiting class this year, with 5 5 stars already committed.
Last year Alabama pulled in the #2 class, which was in itself a high enough rated class to be #1 in most years. And that was coming off the best class ever the previous year.
As far as the transfer portal goes, Alabama has been rated #1 in that most years as well, or top3 at a minimum. I don't think any school has benefited from the portal more than Alabama, as Alabama has picked up multiple #1 draft picks from it, who started immediately and had an impact.
So what the frick are you even talking about? How is it possible for you to be so wrong and clueless, yet type so much?
Do you not have an inner desire to know the frick you are talking about? Like at all?

I’m not sure you saw that, but it was me rolling my eyes

You’re way overthinking it. He’s lost entirely too many coaches to poaching and it’s finally caught him
I think the NIL gives Saban less control than he previously had, but it’s fair to say Saban is goat while mentioning they’re really poorly coached right now

I wish my dead was 10-2 regular season with two last second losses

Oh yeah super hard. I don't know how I am going to go on with my life. I might end up having to go to online forums while making up narratives about other teams that make me feel good in order to cope.

These threads are hilarious. Fans of all other schools would kill for a 10-2 regular season to be a "down" year.

That's stupid.
The real answer is he's just gotten older. You lose passion and intensity and ultimately the desire to continue all together even though you love doing it.
Ya, know we have this word for it. It's called retirement. And I don't think Saban is far off from it.

This is an honest take. Bama is just two solid coordinator hires away from greatness. Need to write a blank check and pull two known quantities.

Well Saban made a two year deal with the devil for a offense cord.
Devil sent BoB.
Moral of this story is Never make a deal with the Devil. He will screw you every time.
