Kind of scary it’s his first season at LSU. Man quite a contrast from all the off season threads making fun of the hire.

At least one thing is consistent, Jimbo being the most over paid and worst coach in CFB.

Until he wins a big game, the question remains.

I wish the team started a little faster but he has coached very well.

True... LSU also had two coaches that were borderline special needs that won a National Championship, I think
Kelly will get it done.

He can go 10-2 for five years, never win a CFP game or SEC championship and still be a GOOD coach. He does that AND wins the SEC/CFP game he would be a great coach.

But yeah, until he wins the conference and/or a CFP playoff game he will have the career playoff losses on his back somewhat.

It was glorious, but let's be real. Did ANYONE who follows the SEC actually believe Ole Missy was a top-ten team?

Coach O worked his arse off and left a lot of talent. Same as he did at Ole Miss. let’s give it a few years. Right now this is O’s team. 2008 Ole Miss is my example. Time will tell.
