Russell lasted longer with the Raiders than the Raiders’ two most recent first-round picks from Alabama.
Ruggs was a dipshit who did a horrible thing. He'd probably still be in the league if he hadn't done that. No excuses, but it wasn't his play that got him out.
Leatherwood is still in the League, though he admittedly did have a rough go his rookie year. Most Bama fans wondered why on earth he was drafted in the first round.
Jacobs is still playing.
It is funny, though, that a thread started by an Ole Miss fan about LSU players someone immediately goes, "BUT BAMA!"

How?
OPs post wasn’t limited to only LSU and OM players

The funny thing is that most LSU people that I know refuse to even acknowledge that Ben Simmons went to their school

No one claims Ben Simmons as a Tiger but Ben Simmons when he’s being rightfully criticized by Shaq.

Jamarcus is undoubtedly the biggest NFL bust of all time. Simmons is nowhere near a bust much less the biggest.

Again, the Raiders had two worse busts just from Alabama the past couple of seasons.

Ben Simmons has been awful. Even his teammates hate him.

Has OM even produced a NBA player?

That’s a simple no. Not even a good attempt really. Simmons doesn’t make a list for the Top 100 busts of all time lol

In his defense Ole Miss has hardly anyone who comes out of college with high expectations to compare Jamarcus to. It’s hard to be a bust when no one expects anything due to attending Ole Miss.

Ben Simmons was a college bust. His team didn’t even make the NIT
Coach was terrible. An all time great freshman stat line.
And calling a guy that has made all nba defense teams the worst nba bust ever is ludicrous. Several bigger busts in the lasts 10 years.

Eli Manning. Next.

Oof. It’s amazing how few players Ole Miss has put into the league, if a fringe bench player is the best you can name.

Has Ole Miss ever had a player drafted in the first round of the NBA draft?

I recall Gerald Glass was a first-round pick, but he was a flop.
