I can't wait.
Action packed game...Jarace Walker is a beast for Houston but so is our very own Brandon Miller.
Looking forward to this game and hopefully we will compete at a high level.

Ugly but worse than a potential loss is Brazile might have tore his ACL. Injury looked a little scary

Refs bailing Arkansas out as usual.

Damn. He’s been awesome in every Arkansas game I’ve been able to watch. Hopefully it ends up being nothing serious other than maybe flaring up when y’all play Bama

They already said on the tv broadcast that Arkansas said its not a long term injury, he didnt tear anything.

Yeah, I tried to make that point a few pages back, but it didn’t go over too well. They’ve been badly beaten a few times this year by mediocre or bad teams.
I’m hoping our struggles were due to a complete non-interest in the game by a young team vs. something more concerning. We missed a bunch of shots and they made a crazy % of mid range fade-aways, but there was some definite lack of hustle and focus from guys not named Clowney (especially after building the 20 point lead).

Do you have a link to that schedule?

That program loves shooting in Coleman, because they have done this the last 3 times we have played them. I wish we'd just stop scheduling them.

how many games has Ala played as a top 5 team? It can't be many. If we can beat Houston Sat, I'd imagine we'd make that jump to about 5 at least.
Got beat by Utah the night we became # 1 (is that right?). When else? ever?

I think Bama spent two weeks as number 1, before the loss to Utah.

We beat Houston we will be #6 or #5. Would be higher but our schedule looks soft so far. NC and Michigan State are overrated. We really haven’t been punched in the mouth like Houston will yet. I think we have some dogs but we gotta see how they react to getting punched

I do not feel great about Saturday night. We didn't handle UConn's physicality well and Houston is going to give us that and more in a hostile environment. Either way, it'll be a great learning experience and another chance to get comfortable against elite athletes playing physical defense. We need that, because we're gonna see quite a bit of it in the league this season (Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi State, Tennessee).
