This isn't the first time we've lost a game and worked our way back into the playoff.
Team needs to nut up and go to work.
Does it suck? Absolutely.
Are we done? Hell no.
This team has the talent to beat anyone in the country. Let's see how they respond before declaring the season is over.

You’re right. Lost to A&M last year and nearly beat a great Georgia team twice (almost winning the national title at that). Far from over. Rematch in Atlanta coming and beginning of a new streak.

Grand scheme of things, game means nothing.

We played some bad games last year but we had the ability to really put on some elite play. This defense is borderline awful right now with how the whole unit is playing. I think we can definitely win the west. Although we have a few games we can still drop

It's simple.
Win the rest of our conference games and we're in the SEC title game.
Regardless of our opponent in Atlanta, take care of business there and we're still in it.

Have to beat a good Miss St. team at home next week. Then we go on the road to LSU, that’s going to be their super bowl. And then we stay on the road at what will probably be a 9-0 Ole Miss team, maybe ranked ahead of us.

Those one loss championship teams are pretty damn sweet too.
I'd love for this team to surprise me. You'd think with Will Anderson getting consistently double and triple teamed that we'd find a way to affect the QB. You'd think that'd help out the secondary.
But it hasn't happened. This is a flawed defense.

I used to think this but I really don't think we do anymore. I mean we just gave up FIFTY TWO freaking points!! We may very well win the west but we get boat raced in the Championship game.

We played sloppy all year, and this was the end result. Tennessee played a great game, and got the win they desperately wanted for 15 years.
We ain't done yet, and even though it hurts, this is motivation for us to reach Atlanta.
Let's regroup for Miss State, but for right now, this is our (sad) reality.

Defense does not seem very talented honestly. We've got a few good players but some really bad athletes in other spots compounded with terrible coaching

With this defense, I have no faith. Once we play a high powered offense, we’re screwed. We saw that today.

Yep. When opposing players are running free by ten yards, that’s scheme, not players.

Like last year?
We lost to a much weaker team in 2021 and absolutely boat raced Georgia in Atlanta.
The season is not over.
Did I want to go undefeated? Hell yeah.
We've won 4 titles under Saban with a loss. The world didn't end tonight.

I agree, everything is still in front of us. We just need the coaching to get out of the way.
