It's 10000 percent the coolest. These haters will never admit though.

No. You only think Rocky Top and the War Chant are done to death.
Boomer Sooner is played by the band on every single fricking down. They played it 84 times against Georgia in the Rose Bowl playoff game. They only played it half that many times against us in the playoff game. And they were down by 35 at the half.

Must have been visiting Tennessee then. Otherwise he’d have named it the teethbrush.

The tunes "Glory, Glory to Old Georgia" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad" aren't even close to the same songs. Are you tone deaf?

Rocky Top would be cool if they didn't play it for every 4 yd gain. "2nd and 6 Vols...da da da da daaah da dadada"
The Eagle...meh...
"Dixieland Delight" is a favorite.
Dixie in the 4th Qt.., whatevs
Cowbells ...should be illegal
The Hog Call...awesome yes, the envy f all, but only if everyone is doing it. 1 person Hog Calls are strange
But the coolest SEC tradition... winning the NC every year

When Tennessee was really good in the 90s it was really annoying, but in modern times Rocky Top actually not that bad. There's a pretty cool backstory too. I have no problem with Rocky Top!
Since an OU fan started this thread...
An interesting back story:
The actual song "Rocky Top" (Osborne Bros) was released on the radio in the last week of December of 1967. The same week that OU and Tennessee played in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 1, 1968

TexASS has stolen this tradition. Just like they stole our colors and the interlocking UT. Now they have hats with the Power
However, they claim to be the "real UT". Dildo waving cocksuckers are a joke.

Make your case. You state it's the coolest tradition ... why?
It's an obscure song written for an obscure band and was rarely ever heard at the time of its release. The lyrics are about an alcoholic living at the top of a mountain who experiments (sexually) with small animals (a mink & a duck).

The song, the crowd, definitely one of the coolest songs in college football, especially when the crowd sings it.
I think it's the best "fight song" (if that's even what it is) in the SEC, and it's not close.

Just wait until you sit in a stadium where you hear their band play it 45 times in one game even if they're down by 30 points. Your mind will be changed.
