Successful, but I felt at risk for monkey pox watching those plays live.

TJ was mid-60s completion last night. He made some great down field throws. I'll give him a chance and see if he can develop. He had two beautiful passes in the second half when the game was on the line.

3 INT’s vs terrible competition so far. 1 TD. He is who he is. He’s had a lot of chances.

For as bad as he looked in the first game, he looked great in the second game. You can see the potential. Kid just needs to calm down and make his reads.

We don't need TJ to be Bryce. We have a fantastic RB group that we need to feature. We need a QB that can hit the 65% completion rate and not bug out when things get tight late in the game. Robby is Uber talented, but highly emotional. I worry more about our D. Harsin can't have a ball control offense and a porous defensive back field. It will end bad for us.

our dbs arent bad man. Can we give credit where its due just once? San Jose St had two really good WRs that were 6'2 and 6'4 with good hands and body control. They made plays all night in blanket coverage. Hell, one even took a sure INT away from number 4 on defense.

Auburn fans shite on their team worse than any other fanbase

I won't argue with you on their WRs. They were impressive.

This right here. I honestly believe TJ has hit is ceiling and it’s pretty damn low. If Harsin is hell bent on playing TJ it will probably cost him is job.

I refuse to believe that TJ is the best QB on the roster. Other than Vandy or Mizzo is there another SEC team that TJ starts on?

Don’t think he’d be starting at either of those places honestly. Calzada was a swing and miss by Harsin apparently. I think he just showed up thinking he would win the job and he isn’t that kind of talent and it cost him. Hoping he can get it together enough to take over at some point.

Think we actually have the worst QB group in the SEC? I'm not sure either way but maybe...

Just checked the stats... honestly we may.

I still don’t understand why Auburn fans are optimistic (assuming a winning season being optimistic , which is also sad…) this year. We have:

-the worst QB room in the SEC west
-probably the worst coaching staff in the SEC west
-a defense that doesn’t seem to be as good as we hoped

It’s a zero sum game. Someone has to lose and if you are the team with inferior QB, coaching, and offensive line play there’s a good chance you will take that L

"Shitting" on team equates to being critical of the play?

I mean, OK...but you realize that most of the teams we will run into in the SEC will have comparable if not better receivers, right? So saying "it's nothing to worry about, we just ran into a team with good receivers" isn't exactly comforting. It's not like San Jose State is the best passing offense they'll see this year.
