I can’t get in front of a tv tonight and only see the stats (3 TDs from Altmyer).
Is Luke looking legit tonight?

Maybe. Hard to tell against this opponent. It will really come down to what coaches see on film. Who made the correct reads, set the correct protections, got the team correctly lined up etc… I wouldn’t read too much into stat lines. Might have made the wrong read but completed it anyway because it’s Central Arkansas. Coaches will know from film.

No. UCA is a much worse team than Troy. He looks like he hurt his shoulder. Will probably be Dart in the 2nd half.

I thought so to start but but on the Dart train now.

Gotta be Dart going forward
Let’s just accept it and move on

If this is going to be a thing I vote we just start Altmyer and let the season play out

I only watched highlights but thought Dart made the more difficult throws/reads. Mingo and Trigg looked really good as did the rb's. We get good to decent qb play and we have something.

Dart has "it". Needs to come together and he needs work on consistency, but because of him we could win a game or two we shouldn't. Of course, we'll also likely lose a game we should have won because of him

If Heath could learn to be more reliable and catch the ball, we could be really dangerous with our receivers.

Luke was alright prior to getting hurt. The answer to the question is no though. First play from scrimmage to Mingo was a bad throw but Mingo made a highlight reel catch and fortunately the DB didn’t turn around, otherwise it’s a pick. Outside of that he was pretty good, then he got hurt. Dart was better though.

I think it is Dart. He gives us a higher ceiling. He still has to learn the playback though.

Kiffin needs to go ahead and put this to rest. I think it’s pretty obvious who is better and that’s Dart. I do hate that for Altmyer with him being a Sip boy, growing up an OM fan and from Starghanistan to boot. I feel like we sort of owe him something but that’s just not the nature of the beast. He’s a more than viable backup which would be nice to have if he’d stay on.

Dart just has more arm talent than Altmyer. Altmyer ceiling is just a lot lower than what Dart has. I think Altmyer could be an above average QB but Dart has a chance to be a very good QB. If you told me next year Dart gets talked about as a NFL prospect I wouldn’t be completely surprised.

Also now Dart must be protected at all costs with Altmeyer being injured.

When Dent was in last year, he did ok, to be honest.

Dart seems like he's just gonna throw it deep 99% of the time regardless of the coverage, and the other 1% will be very questionable short throws.
