Daniel Hill to Bama

A perfect compliment to the other RBs we have on the roster. This dude squats 725lbs as a senior in HS but is also extremely athletic and does the following events in track: 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, 60m dash, 60m hurdles, shot put, long jump, and triple jump.

Seems like a big bruising back that can flat out move. I'm very encouraged.

I'm hopeful that he’s another Lendale White type of back that will be a great complement to the other shiftier backs.

I love it..

The idea that you can do whatever you want whenever, should be met with this example.

You can leave your situation but the grass isn't always greener.

I lived about 30 minutes outside of Boise from 2013 to 2017. It's a great city and I would 100% move back if my wife could stand the cold.

I lived in Wyoming for two years on a job. Loved the summers. I’ll never deal with that winter cold again. Good god.

He appears to be versatile, and with his size and strength he should be a good blocker. Having him in as H-back could make for interesting movement on plays. He could switch from H-back to RB during the play, heck he can even throw the ball a little. Can't remember the last time we threw a halfback pass, it used to be a Bama staple several times a season.

Man if Hill doesn't work out and transfers, some will have the "I don't know why we took him in the first place" post preloaded. I just hope it works cause I love guys who try to challenge themselves by coming to Bama.

I hope he works out but I have my doubts. He just doesn’t look very fast, shifty or explosive. I realize that he’s not a burner but I don’t know where he fits in with our offense. I don’t think he’s coming here to be an H back or Robbie Outz type guy. Are there more than a handful of big backs left in college or the NFL?

It is cyclical. He is the first of the new big backs. . I want him to be the next Connor Heyward so bad

They say he runs track, 60m, for his school. Has to have some speed.

Hill could have a role as a freshman. He’s already squatting 700 pounds. Insane. He trucked players in the all star game the other day.

One of my favorite players under Saban. He was a work horse.

He was injured in 2012 during the second game. Imagine him that season with Lacy and Yeldon with that offensive line.
