You drive on to campus from I-110 Dalrymple exit. You drive between two of the campus lakes, big beautiful houses on left and right. You're on LSU campus now.
Pass 4 or 5 churches, go through the traffic circle and continue on Dalrymple.

U-High is on your left. Fraternity row starts on your right.

From that spot, Myles Brennan could throw a football to the law center, and JaMarcus Russell could throw one to the parade grounds.

They've been on campus for 12 years. They want a new environment.

No Colonel Dingus . We wanted him and his brother. It’s their Daddy that we don’t want, and apparently his sons don’t want to be around him either. Happy trolling!

Oddly enough Dillon Moses was probably the closest we had to a kid from there
We've had Brosette and Brumfield in recent years.

Some others we didn't even really pursue (Harris, the kids who went to UGA and Clemson), but there are others like Ausberry who just want to get away.

If i went to high school on a college campus I’d probably have an open mind to seeing what else is out there

Eric Reid went to lsu and his brother Justin went to Stanford and their dad worked at lsu as well
Both made nfl
You have to respect their decisions
I know I would if it was my son

It's an interesting phenomenon. U High is located on LSU's campus. Being that a lot of kids want to branch out, and see something new when they graduate high school, it almost puts LSU at a disadvantage when recruiting some of their guys. It's nothing against LSU. To be honest, I don't blame them when they want to go somewhere else. I know how I was when I was finishing high school. All I wanted to do was leave my hometown.

Good player and a great family. His brother is at Auburn and these kids went to school on LSU campus K-12. This has zero to do with Brian Kelly and more to do with wanting to get out and be somewhere else. No lsu fan is panicking over it just like no lsu fan gave Arch Manning any real consideration. Ausberry was leaving the state regardless and many players from UHigh want a change of scenery come collage time. Is what it is.

This is not the first time so to put this on Kelly is incorrect. It has happened to every coach that came here including Saban. Kids are tired of seeing the same thing everyday for years and a new look is what they Think they need. But nice try to trash Kelly

My daughter played on a traveling volleyball squad for 5 years, and the college coach ran the team. They built a strong relationship, but my daughter chose to play for a college out of state and declined the scholarship from her coach. She just wanted a new experience in a different state.

It is my understanding that Verge and his wife took there boys to different college campuses across the country on every vacation just so they could see other options. This commitment surprised no one in Baton Rouge.

We were a program in shambles and when we got our 5th choice of coach it was obvious we had institutional problems and we accepted it instead of pretending like we were going to win the national championship the year after hiring our 5th choice of coach.

Plus Woodward is damn near his uncle, minus blood. I think they even call him their uncle…. Talk abt a conflict of interest

I left Arkansas after spending all 18 years there to go to LSU. Looking back, I probably would go even farther if I could do it again. The U of A was still 5 hours of driving from my hometown but still not enough of a change for me. I can't imagine how badly I would want to go somewhere else if my high school shared a campus with the college. If you don't go see something new at 18, you may never do it.
