People are pretty pumped on yall after the way you finished out the season. I'm not as sold on rattler as some others but he may workout

Dang it. It's my luck to have a decent Vol fan be the first to reply and screw my statement up.

South Carolina is always alphabetically ahead of Tennessee. Congrats on that, once again. Other than that...I'd still take 8-4 over 7-5.

I also think it's odd. They must really love Rattler. I think Hooker could be the best QB in the SEC this year if he improves from last year, where his stats were already very very good.
ETA- also could be the auto-loss vs Bama. Who is SC's crossover opponents this year? AnM the fake rivalry is obviously there, but who's the other?

8-4 for LSU, I'd consider that a good year all things considered.

If both Bama and UGa both have a conference loss, to whom do they belong?

OK...here is the only reason this doesn't make sense to me. If UT finishes the conference 4-4, behind USCe at 4-4...that means that USCe beats UT. That also means that UT either beats: Florida, Georgia, LSU, or Alabama but loses to USCe.
So, they think that Tennessee is more likely to lose at Columbia than they are either to UF or Bama in Knoxville or at Baton Rouge or Athens. Also...Tennessee will be coming off playing against Missouri in Knoxville, while USCe will be coming off playing Florida in Gainesville.
It just seems like flawed logic to me.

The same pathetic Texas defense that was destroyed by Kansas completely shut down Rattler. He was helpless. You could take 11 posters from this board and score 35 on that Texas defense.

All things considered, if LSU goes 8-4 4-4 in conference play in BK’s first season, I’m content. That would be the floor after that.

I literally predicted y'all to finish ahead of us

Every SEC West team bowl eligible and with 7+ wins?
That's only happened twice: 2014 and 2015.

Usually your comments do a pretty good job of invalidating themselves.
You know it's bad when a vol post is more sane, relatively speaking of course.

I'm still curious as to how South Carolina received three first-place votes in the recent SEC preseason media poll.

Then How did Missouri win the east twice back in 2013 and 2014? It got to be a flaw too!
