Alabama has always been my second favorite SEC school. Their fans and program have always been top notch IMO.

No. It’s not that. I think it’s more LSU wants a real rival and Alabama’s rival, Tennessee, has been in a coma for nearly two decades so it’s just kind of played out like it has.
