Bryce Young - INT to Ringo
Stetson Bennett - TD to Bowers
Not a very Heisman like moment for Young but The Mailman delivered.

Is that the equipment manager?
And how did he get an NIL deal with the post office?

Bennett = McElroy

Great thread, would read again!

Bennett did way better than McElroy in the national title game

In fairness, Bennett has been playing college football in some form or fashion since 2017. This was Bryce Young's first real season in the college game as his playing time was very limited last year due to the nature of the schedule.

Saban should have let him play more, but he was busy stat racking.

That is the winning QB of the University of Georgia - the National Champions. A Damn Good Dawg whose hard work, pure determination and love for his university paid off. Of course A&M wouldn’t know much about great QBs or national titles

1st year or not he won the Heisman and he crumbled when it mattered the most

He handles the trophies.

Because Bryce Young is the first ever Heisman winner to lose a national championship game? He’s in pretty decent company. Since 1998:
Chris Weinke
Eric Crouch
Jason White
Reggie Bush
Troy Smith
Sam Bradford
Marcus Mariota
And that’s not counting Heisman winners like Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray who lost in the semis.

Bennett got a lot of real snaps in the 2017 season, did he?

Good try. Stet has had a football in his hand since he was able to walk. He had few stars, few offers and had to earn his position. He was a walk-on who never lost his dream of playing at Georgia. The road was long and hard but he made it.
Bryce got a lot of hype, lots of offers and was rated 5 stars but when it came down to the biggest game of his life he blew it. Beaten by a walk on QB
and a defense who got after him big time. Wonder if NY wants that Heisman back?
Stetson was pure magic in the fourth quarter of the NC. Some people just want it more, don’t believe all the hype others are getting. They believe in themselves and play their hearts out. Stetson did all this and more - all year

Poor Bryce. Guess he will be entering the portal since he gets so little playing time.

When Bryce had his best players available, he set the SECCG record for total yards.

Umm Bryce won the Heisman by absolutely embarrassing UGA's historic defense in the SECCG. This is weird.

Nothing screams inferiority like a May post after a Jan NC directed at a fan base that truly believes they overachieved getting there this year.
And, the obligatory, who are you?
