I'd agree with rotating the championship game between Atlanta and Dallas even though it would put more money in Jerry Jones' pocket.

You mean the people who decided "frick Tennessee, I am moving to Texas". Yes, those people were awesome.

No, I think he means the people who decided Texas was getting their asses kicked, so they thought they would go down and show you twats how to fight. Do you even history, baw?

The only thing worse than having the SEC's offices in Alabama would be moving them to Texas.

I know it isn’t super centrally located, but I would love to see the Baseball Tourney in Pensacola where the Blue Wahoos play. That would make for an awesome early summer trip

Didn’t Texas lose the battle at the Alamo?

Yep, lost the Alamo

Won the Battle of San Jacinto and became a nation.

Yeah, they did. But holding the Alamo that long gave Texass time to get their shite together. Santa Anna would have went in dry.

I would prefer Houston but that would be a good move too. The premiere league's office should not be in Birmingham.

Ahh... not really? I mean it was a stop for logistical and reinforcement reasons. Actually bothering to take the Alamo was more of an afterthought.

It should be noted that the Alamo defenders offered to surrender well before the final assault but Santa Anna insisted on unconditional surrender. And by well before I mean within a day or two of the Mexican Army arriving on the scene. They also tried to surrender again right before the final assault but Anna was determined to make an example of them.

SA was going to wait until he got more troops and shored up his logistics regardless of what happened, though he should have taken the offer of surrender and banked a load of prisoners without having to bother to take the Alamo itself. Then he still could have waited for reinforcements.

Also, and this is over looked, the Mexicans absolutely wiped their behinds on the Texas forces at the Battle of San Patrico in the lead up to the final assault of the Alamo. Anna was waiting for those troops to join him.

This would be a good time to point out that Santa Anna, despite having a very high opinion of his own abilities, was a dreadful military commander... as the battle of San Jacinto and later the Mexican-American war would prove. If Anna had been a competent military commander the stand at the Alamo, however it was resolved, wouldn't have mattered in the slightest. Thankfully for our Texican friends he was the drizzling shits.

Id like to see the baseball tournament be more like the MLB playoffs by playing the games on the schools home fields with the home team being the one with the best record.

Thank the maker!
Thought you were proposing a wierd 5-team division.
No way the SEC is stupid enough to fall for what the Big 12 did. Should definitely rotate the SEC offices.
